.

Posting now cause I won't have time in the morning:

I am sooooo funny, I know...

Work in progress!

Looks fun!

I am having fun with these... but today I didn't work anywhere near as fast as I was hoping:

My Copic multiliners are mostly destroyed because I press too hard when I ink, so they are almost unusable and I am forced to work very slowly. This happens to me with pretty much every pen I use: I render them unusable before they run out of ink. Oh, well...

I need to take a break because my eyes (and my butt) are killing me after working on these for the past couple of hours. Ideally, I'll find the energy to ink the third one later today, but I make no promises. I need to sit on the couch and focus on something further away from my eyes than a few inches... like the TV for instance. Sounds like a gaming session might be in order!

I got it done!

More progress soon! (And by "soon" I mean "at some point in the next few days.")

More elements for the drawing!

I should now be able to scan and color everything. I just need unlimited time!

I don't think I ever mentioned this here, but a friend of mine and I made this videogame based on Spanish writer Cervantes that you might want to check out. It's free, so you don't have to spend a single cent, and all the artwork is by me. It was really awesome to see all my drawings turn into a game! Anyway, if you check it out, I hope you like it! It's short and sweet!

(My students are reading an easier, simplified version of Don Quijote, and that reminded me I should share this with you, friends.)

Progress!

I stick my head back into the thread to find that it's full of bees. I'm sure illumination will be forthcoming.

I took a short break from posting, but I've drawn a thing or two since.

Aaand that's another thing Mario's done to be envious of. (I've not been able to check it out properly yet though.)

Cool drawing, Ravanon! I love the posture and, as usual, the clothes!

All these bees are for a drawing for my mother-in-law. I'm hoping to hav it finished this weekend, but we'll see. Here's the third bee, fully colored:

As well as the house that will also appear:

More on this when I have the whole thing done.

As for the game, let me know what you think if you check it out. It's a point-and-click adventure, and it was a blast to do.

A few weeks ago, my mother-in-law asked me to update this drawing I made for her in 2017 by replacing the turtle and dragonflies with bees:

I said I could switch some bugs, no problem, but since she had been using the drawing on the back of her business cards because she loved it so much, she asked me if, in addition to having bees instead of dragonflies, maybe I could add a house (she's a realtor) in the background, a couple waving at the girls riding the bees, and the sign from her real estate agency. Since I am always "ready to face any challenges that might be foolish enough to face me," I said sure, no problem, and that's how I ended up drawing the piece you've already seen bits and pieces of:

I am happy to report she loved it, but there is no rest for the wicked because this coming Sunday is my wedding anniversary, so I need to go back to the drawing board as soon as I finish typing this. I hope you like both this picture and the one coming in a week!

Just a simple(-ish) one this week, nothing too ambitious:

(Aaarggh, hands.)
