PC controller for sweaty hands?

I've been trying to get into using a controller with my gaming PC because it works so much better for some games, but whenever I do, it seems like my hands get hot and sweaty almost immediately. Can someone recommend a good controller that addresses this problem and preferably doesn't cost a fortune?

I didn’t know of any solutions personally, but out of curiosity I did a Google search. Seems a very common issue. Here’s one article where the author tried several things and ended up finding that biking gloves were what helped. But, it definitely seems like you’re not alone and there’s several things to try.

There are silicon grips you can get for the Xbox and PS controllers that might help at least keep your hands cooler and grip better

Huh. I'd never thought of the biking gloves solution. I may have to try that.

Thanks!

I found one of these in a thrift store and thought it was neat, so I bought it. NYKO Air Flo PC gamepad. There's a switch the middle for two fans in the hand holds that turns the fans off, to low, or to high. It works, it blows air over your hands and keeps them cool, but it's a little bit on the loud side. Even without the fans running just having the holes in the grips provides a bit of air flow.

It's not great, but it's cheap and might be worth a try if the gloves don't work.

I used to have one of them!

I'm also a sweaty hand haver, and that thing was great for it. I mean, it was a sh*tty off-brand controller in terms of feel, but the air flow feature was superb.
