Picture of Spirit Island in the header, but I didn't actually play it until after we recorded. It's an intriguing, complicated, challenging coop game! Would love a digital version that crunched some of the more fiddly rules.

Had some audio issues with this episode. Your last three or four predictions you replayed went to dead air. So all we heard was silence while you were listening to them. Also your 2019 predictions themesong suddenly replayed over your podcast while you were discussing the switch. It was weird.

BTW... people might pay $400 to play a portable version of Beat Saber they can bring to parties... especially when you can cast the screen to a TV. Just saying...

Downloaded on Pocket Cast for Android.

That was last episode, Hanover, you can download a fixed file now!

Wait what happened to Rabbit's son that he is now an empty nester? I thought he is too young for college or am I now so old that time passed that quickly?

Also where is Beckett?

Yeah, I was wondering that too.

Re: Cryptic Crosswords... Does no one from the Podcast subscribe to or buy Games Magazine?
That's been my source for these puzzles for decades.

There is no link to Deception, would it be accurate to say its Deception: Murder in Hong Kong? https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/...

I was politely not looking or commenting but I am also concerned that they're missing. Are they okay?

Maybe Beckett doesn't like boardgames He posted in the latest CC thread.

I assumed it was a silent form of protest.

Yes, thank you! That's the one.

Anyone on GWJ pkaying Keyforge? It looks interesting. Weird that decks are like $14 on Amazon, and not $10.

Shawn mentioned that playing Qwirkle makes him feel like he could be in Mensa. If you'd like to feel even more like you're in the club, play Castles of Mad King Ludwig, as it won a Mensa award. And it's a great game.
