Itzy - Loco

I don't know specifically that one off hand. Is it Cross? Maybe try Doctors, Doctor Stranger, Doctor John, or Yong Pal? I haven't seen any of those so I don't know the particulars of the plot, but they were really popular.

It was Dr Romantic. My brain skipped over that title when I was looking because that initial part has nothing to do with romance. Thanks kindly for replying.

Glad you found your answer. My knowledge of K-dramas is limited to Kingdom and Strong Girl Bong-Soon, plus a couple web shows staring some of my favorite idols.

And in other news the second MV from Itzy's new album just dropped:

Itzy - Swipe

About a year ago, I caved an got a subscription to Viki.

Second video from CL's upcoming album:

CL - Lover Like Me

Twice 1st English single

The Feels

At the end of the video...

Spoiler:

they reveal a full album coming in November.

I was surprised that it was all English. Honestly, better than their cover of "I Want You Back."

aespa - Savage

Luna - Madonna

SUNMI - Go Or Stop

Not quite sure what this is. It seems to be in support of her favorite League of Legends team, Damwon Kia, who's going to be in the LOL World Championship this week. Not sure if they commissioned the song, or how it came about.

But in any case, I can't argue with another Sunmi song in the world.

Also in some MOMOLAND news, Court orders MLD Entertainment to pay former Momoland member Daisy her unpaid earnings of 79M KRW(~66K USD). Sounds like the company wanted her (and presumably everyone else in the group?) to reimburse them the cost of the Finding Momoland reality show that formed the group- even though the show (obviously) took place before any of them signed contracts to join the company.

Some lovely new releases

Rothy - Cold Love

Stella Jang - Let's Go Home

Initial impressions this may be my favorite Black Swan song yet

Black Swan - Close to Me

Jessi - Cold Blooded

Red Velvet - 'Queendom (Demicat Remix)

BiBi - The Weekend (Official Lyric Video)

Forgive the quadruple post, it's my birthday and LOONA just released their video for Hula Hoop, their first Japanese single.

LOONA - Hula Hoop

Fun and colorful and full of references to their solo videos.

Happy belated birthday, Tscott!

CL's album Alpha is out now.

New single is Tie a Cherry:

Or watch her live performance video with the 3 singles and one other song from her album. I really enjoyed this one:

And finally, I don't think I'd ever post a video from Hot Ones in this thread, but here's CL eating spicy wings and getting interviewed:

She's so iconic. I feel like I need to go back and add some more 2NE1 songs to my playlist now.

(Also thanks for the birthday wishes, Antichulius. I had a good one!)

Ryan Jhun has worked as a songwriter and producer for over 10 years in Kpop. Recently he's worked with Loona on songs like "Paint the Town", "Hula Hoop" and "Not Friends". Also Oh My Girl with songs like "Dun Dun Dance" and "Dolphin". He's also worked with Red Velvet on "Dumb Dumb" and a number of b-sides. And a lot more.

Bugaboo - Bugaboo is a debut from his personal label, A Team, and he of course worked on the song as well. Which maybe explains why this is so darn good.

Also a perfect video for the season. Happy Holloween!

TWICE - SCIENTIST

Been really enjoying this the past couple days. Jeongyeon has also been participating in some of the promotional activities. So good to see her.

Here's a group I've been grossly neglectful in checking out. I think youtube recommended them to me many times throughout the year but I never gave them a look. I think the name PIXY threw me off. I was expecting something cute and light- and NOT expecting to compare them to Dreamcatcher, Pink Fantasy and aespa when I finally did click on a video of theirs.

Here's their debut song Wings from February. Amazing song for a debut.

Let Me Know is their first comeback.

Then "Addicted" in October:

And an MV for an English B-side "Bewitched" released right before Halloween.

Definitely keeping my eye out for more in the future and I'll no longer be neglecting them.

So this came out two weeks ago and I'm just hearing it this weekend. It's catchy as hell.

Jeon Somi - XOXO

My reaction to every Somi song has been exactly the same:

First listen "this is too mainstream/western pop for my taste"
Then a few days later, "why's this song still stuck in my head ---okay, you win--- adding to my playlist".

This one was no exception.

Rounding a few things up in this post:

T-ARA - Tiki Taka

2nd Gen group back after a long hiatus.

Weki Meki - Siesta

I think this is a more mature sound for this group. I like it.

Viviz- coming soon??

I just heard about this group. It'll be trio featuring Eunha, Umji and SinB all formerly from Gfriend. No debut date yet, but they're currently pretty active on social media.

And finally, Sorn announced on social media that she has left Cube/CLC.
IMAGE(https://i.imgur.com/QzpVCgo.jpg)
Not too surprising. I believe she was on record as saying Cube Entertainment had more or less abandoned the group. Other members, Elkie had already left months ago, and Yujin recently was a finalist on Girls Planet 999 so will be in the resulting group, Kep1er. So the chances of ever seeing anything new from CLC is looking very slim.

Hwa Sa - I'm a 빛

And if you have an Ed Sheeran collab with SUNMI and Jessi on your 2021 kpop bingo card you can mark off that space:

Ed Sheeran - Shivers (feat. Jessi, SUNMI)

New single from Chung Ha. Enjoying this, very catchy.

Chung Ha - Killing Me

And here's a very cool performance video from Pink Fantasy.

Pink Fantasy | 'Tales of the Unusual' M/V (Normal Ver.)

And if this isn't creepy enough for you, you can watch the zombie version instead.

Another killer rookie group?

Billlie - Ring X Ring

The debut might be hit or miss for some people, but I was loving the uniqueness on the first listen. The choreo is very nice too, which is even more apparent in this performance video of one of their b-sides:

Billlie - 'flipp!ng a coin' Performance Video

And speaking of "debut" songs has anyone seen Cotton Candy yet? Here "debut" is in quote because...well... read the spoiler below.

Cotton Candy - White Day

Spoiler:

Featuring Hani from EXID, EXY from WJSN, Solbin from LABOUM, Green from REDSQUARE and actress Han Soeun.

Cotton Candy is a fictional group from a K-drama show called Idol: The Coup

I'm curious what others think of the new Everglow comeback, Pirate. There's a lot going on here.

EVERGLOW - Pirate MV

You weren't kidding. It's catchy enough in parts, but in between... I'm going to have to give it another listen. But I've always enjoyed Everglow's B-sides, so I think I'm looking forward more to the rest of the album Didn't even know they were having a comeback.

Man, I have a whole ton of songs to share--it's been far too long that I've read but not posted.

Let's start with Younha's latest album. It is amazing!

Stardust

P.R.R.W
The Process, Result, and the Reason Why

Ort Cloud

IU - Strawberry Moon

Cheer Up - Hong Jin Young
This one's not new, but I found it recently and really enjoy it.

Momoland - 꿈의 노래 (OST)

I was super excited when this released, since it's been a really long time since Momoland's last comeback. The sound is different for them, but I still enjoyed it.

Lucia is an artist I found last year, and have really enjoyed their various albums.

Lucia - Forest

Lucia - Flash of Light

Lucia - Wuthering Heights

Lucia - Pale Blue Dot
