Just watched it. I have been waiting for it. Last 20 minutes was crazy.

I’m fairly sure The Visitor is the 3rd episode of Season 4. The quality of it all just sort of carries on.

Garak is the best. "I can see the attraction... for you."

Can we make this the header for the thread? There's no character in all of Star Trek that I love more than Garak.

It's weird, my first run through of DS9, Garak was my clear favorite. Now on my 6th run, Kira is my favorite, with Garak a hair behind.

Speaking of Kira, watched Necessarily Evil last night. This f*cking show is so great. Obviously some WW2 parallels with collaborators. Great flashbacks to Odo starting his role as Constable. And the final scene with Kira and Odo and what that means for their friendship. Damn.

And speaking of Garak, watched Cardassians the night before and man did he gloat in Gul Dukats face. Whoo boy.

I like Garak, but mostly because of his interactions with Doctor Bashir. My favorite characters of DS9 has always been Quark and Bashir.

My wife's favorite is also Quark, so good taste. Armin Shimerman can act more with all that loaf on his face than most actors can with their bare faces.

Just to echo everyone else, Way of the Warrior is amazing and so is Garak.

Season 4 is when DS9 really takes off imo, and it rarely lets off the gas until the very end.

I am still looking forward to the episodes with Section 31 (I think they are introduced in season 4) and the episode where some of the characters get stuck on another Cardassian space station that looks like DS9 with some Jem'Hadar.

Sadly Section 31 doesn't arrive until season 6 of DS9.

My DS9 timeline is a bit skewed. For the longest time I thought there were only 5 seasons and only a few years back found out it was really 7.

Heh, once the ramp-up to the war begins, it all does tend to fly by.

I forgot s1 was so short until I hit the end last week

tag!

also I love both Quark and Gareck in DS9. Quark in particular has a lot of stealthy character growth.

I also love Ezri Dax in the last season for how she deals with knowing everyone but not knowing everyone.

What happened to this thread?

I'm up to s6 of DS9. We're at war!

Fortune favors the bold.

It's a faaaaaaaaaaake!

I haven't been doing write ups since I wanted to focus on catching up. I am only a week behind on my schedule. I hope to start writing stuff again next weekend and get some weekly updates (back dated to June). I am currently almost at the end of DS9 S5 and Voyager S3.

Probably my favourite episode.

It's everyone's favorite, best of the series.

"What do I do?" - Nog
"Find him and kill him" - Worf

I finished DS9 last weekend. So good.

Tempted to watch Discovery now. Maybe a palette cleanser first.

Every time I think of the end of DS9 it hits me right in all the feels.

That final 10 episode arc was amazing. And Netflix labels them parts 1-9 (finale 2 hours combined). Pretty sweet.

What We left Behind was a pretty good documentary on DS9.

We're on Enterprise now, having started watching Trek together a number of years ago streaming TNG. It's ... ok?

It's Better sci-fi than Andromeda? Totally watchable quotes the NY times. - things i made up about Enterprise.

In all seriousness. I enjoyed Enterprise. It wasn't ground breaking or mind blowing, but it was an enjoyable show to watch.
