The Next Dragon Age Game

Pages

As someone who has always been interested in the Dragon Age series but has never played any of the games, I think this game looks great. I'm very curious to see more reveals and gameplay videos.

Interest level rising. Hell, that's enough to make me even consider preordering it as a show of support. Even if it's not an all time great RPG like Baldur's Gate 3, I doubt the game will be truly bad.

Yeah that is where I stand. I think I will buy it on release day just to do my part to show EA that releasing zero MTX, singleplayer, offline games is good business.

Ok good, good. We'll see if they stick to that or if they redefine it somehow to sneak in microtransactions under a different name/strategy.

I absolutely do not trust that there will be no microtransactions.
I cannot fathom them not having horse armor at least.
Or some kind of online companion app that you can sizzle up for $$$

Did the Dead Space remake from EA have any microtransactions?

Maybe they have enough self-awareness to know they may be fighting an uphill battle with the long wait since Inquisition, the change in tone and creative direction, etc. etc.. Smart of them to remove potential friction points. But it's also quite easy for studios to add in things after the initial reviews have dropped and they've captured the most out of the game's first month or so of sales.

@beanman101283: Dead Space 2023 was pretty pristine. I don't recall seeing any MTX in that game.

Anyone know where I can get those sweet Game Informer scans?
