Steam Winter Sale 2018 Buy-All

Glad I’m not the only one, I suppose.

The sweet spot games for me now are the things that can give me a satisfying experience whether I play them for 15 minutes or two hours.

But I’ve taken us off track already. Hey what about them hot deals?? GOG just pinged me about a Tyranny discount so this tells me I really should update my wish lists.

For me it was RTSs... I bounced off Warcraft 3, hard. I loved the heck out of Warcraft 1, 2, Starcraft 1, C&C, Homeworld... but now :(

Word oh word

Hottest Tyranny discount was zero dollars from Twitch Prime a little while ago.

So the Fall sale is probably going to start in about three days.

Anyone excited?

::runs to check the Steam Support receipt from June to see how many games on there he didn't play::

I heard that in this voice:

Yeah no.

I'm looking at my wishlist and... there's just not that much off it I would buy, even if it were on sale.
Right now, I've got Spyro, Hitman 2, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Darksiders 3 next week...
I don't really need more.
Is... is this a-adulting? :-\

Well, fine. I’ll just be excited by myself.

Spoiler:

Don’t come in! I’m steam shopping!

I’m excited to pick up a bunch of adventure games for the club.

I'm likely to pick up a couple of random games with local co-op to play with the kids- maybe Lego Marvel 2 or DC Super Villains* if they get cheap enough. But other than that I'm likely to spend my money on a CPU upgrade which will let me play AC:Origins from the *last* sale. Depends if the credit card has cooled down enough after 2 kids' birthday parties in a week.

And though it's probably not going to be on sale, I'm not confident I'll resist X4 if initial reviews are good.

* this one's actually $20 at Fanatical now

Heh, well in my case, the last big game I really wanted was Wildlands, especially now that I can run it, and I just got that at GMG.

So...unless there's some DLC I'm eyeing, like for CMANO, OOB or HOI4, I just don't see myself getting excited for...anything, really.

There are a few new games that may get a bit of a sale, but that is all I'm looking for.

I'll be looking for potential gifts for people. Not really interested in anything for myself.

I'm always excited for a Steam sale no matter if I buy something or not. Must be the nostalgia of it all, or maybe the hope of finding an unexpected deep discount on a forgotten gem on my wishlist.

So I'm with ya, DoubtingThomas!

OMG that .gif is so good!

I've got my eye out for Return of Obra Dinn and Project Hospital.

They're both pretty new so my hopes aren't too high. I might just cave and pick up Obra Dinn anyway as it looks so fresh.

I'm thinking about picking up Subnautica if it's on sale, and a handful of VR goodies, notably Vox Machinae, Tilt Brush and Moss

I was so happy to find it, truly.

There is no think. There is only DO.

There is no do, there is only PILE.

Size matters not!

No sale on Obra Dinn but buy it at full price if you can afford it. The dev deserves it, the game is so good.

Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition @ $9.99 seems like the lowest that has gone, am I correct?

Same for The Talos Principal at $5.99, but I don't need enabling on that.

Yeah, this isn't surprising. Just wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger.

Obra is slotted into my Next Up rotation, full price or not.

Ooh! The infectious Madness of Dr Dekker is $5 right now.

I know what I’m doing when I get home!

Divinity has dipped to 7.49 briefly

Talos is at rock bottom oat 5.99
