What, no time for Clicker Racing?

Man, there's already a whole podcast for gross medical stuff that I don't listen to. I really don't need that in my gaming podcast.

I'm out. Godspeed, gentlemen.

For Justin:

Well done, sir. Yes, well done indeed.

I laughed at that. Guess Sean didn't remember Scotland.

Yay! Wandersong!

Thanks to Amanda for mentioning my write up.

It’s currently my leading contender for best game of 2018, and there have been a lot of good games this year.

There are way more mountains in Britain than I thought.

I'd like to have my ignorance stricken from the record!

A couple things:

  • Michael Zinke is such a caring chill individual and I love the characters he makes, time to deep dive into his creative endeavors... more, somehow... since I both want to respect his privacy by not internet stalking and he doesnt have these endeavors linked on his twitter. Hint. Hint.
  • Heads Off sounds likel my goddamn jam, THANK YOU for the rec, put me in coach.
  • SAWBONES.
  • Creating & Making: Like Amanda, I drew a lot as a kid. Our dad, with the best of intentions, was a bit too gung ho about us pursuing careers as artists which prompted me to self-consciously hide, abandon, and not pursue art as a career choice. Teens are terrible idiots.

I drew maybe 1 to 3 things a year all throughout my 20s and early 30s, and my abilities were stagnant THAT WHOLE TIME.

What legitimately pried me out of my stagnation rot-hole was the GWJ RPG podcast, The Unmarked. I wanted to draw the characters! Most of those original drawings did not survive a pair of 6yr olds determined to color my sketchbooks (I also lost many of the scans), but after losing those I blew the dust off an ancient computer drawing tablet and started making art again.

I started an instagram for my doodles that consist of character illustrations for different RPG groups, including the GWJ pod crew and the 2 GWJ OW D&D groups. I bought a screen tablet (wacom cintiq 13) that arrived this week that I'm using for a comission? Like with money?

  • sorry this got long, idk how to brevity, send help.

There's big hills. Highest peak in the British Isles is Ben Nevis in Scotland, at 4,411 ft.

Which I used to think was a big mountain until I moved within sight of the peak of Mount Rainier at _exactly_ 10,000ft higher; 14,441ft at it's summit.

It still blows me away that I'll think nothing of going day-hiking thousands of feet higher than anywhere in Britain, but I live at sea level.

Aww. That's lovely. Thanks 3or4.

Most of my well developed writing is in games, unfortunately.

But your words have likewise inspired me to redouble my efforts on personal work I've been doing. Thank you for being kind!

All that talk about creativity and no one mentioned/remembered/knew that NaNoWriMo starts in three weeks?

Now that I think about it, I guess it's about time to start a thread for this year...

Edit: Thread is up! NaNoWriMo 2018 Write-All

I will attempt to remedy this transgression! Thank you for bringing it up
