Spoiler:

Dude!

I actually had a complete set of those molded rubber Willow figurines with the metal bases.

I had to throw them away recently, because they didn’t survive the years in my parent’s attic.

Still have a soft spot for the movie, though. I like to think of it as George Lucas proving that Middle Earth could be filmed.

I'm not a tabletop gamer, so every time one of these podcasts pop up, I always tell myself to skip it. But then I listen for a bit and always get sucked in by hearing the joy and enthusiasm from the panel. It's infectious.

Kudos and thanks for the great podcast all!!!

Willow is a solid, solid fantasy film and easily one of the top five fantasy films of the entire 1980's. I mainly made fun of it for comedic effect; I love the film otherwise I wouldn't have bought the game.

The Witcher RPG? Sign me up

Picking up my copy of Dude (and also More Dude) from Target on the way home. Looks like they're the only retailer carrying it right now.

I'm not a big board gamer but would like to know more about the tabletop games. That's why these episodes are gold.
The only thing I'd like to add is the list of games in the shownotes. For the reference. Thanks!

Most of the games talked about appear in Charlie's Polygon article, linked in the Show Credits box at the top of this page.

I would've been interested to hear some talk on Detective given both it's mention in said article and how Julian raved about it on Twitter.

I wonder if the price will go up after this episode

Gretchinz! sounds amazing.

I only observed for a while, but it felt a fair bit like Sherlock Holmes, Consulting Detective, except written by the Heavy Rain team.

Has anyone else done True Dungeon?
