Stupid quote system

.

No f*cking way. I just checked the score because I was on a hike.

No. f*cking. Way.

Liverpool are tiring here. Barcelona with more of the ball but they are leaving gaps when they come forward. Chance for a Rhian Brewster ‘welcome to Liverpool’ baptism? We need someone who can put the afterburners on. Shaqiri has been blowing hot and cold - some lovely crosses but some abysmal passing.

ORIGI!!!!!!!! IT’S 4-0 LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!

Trent Alexander Arnold catches the Barcelona defence completely asleep and it’s there!!!!

NO WAY

Unbelievable. Holy sh*t.

Walk on Walk On with Hope in your heart.

Utterly utterly magnificent from Liverpool. I am so proud of this team and everything they have achieved this season!

Liverpool 4 - 3 Barcelona.

What is even happening in football this year.

Sorbicol, on behalf of all of us, just call out sick from work tomorrow due to the hangover you have rightfully earned.

I'm crying. And off to get a very stiff drink!

Messi can't do it on a cold Tuesday night in/near Stoke.

4th Goal (excuse the link)

This is Liverpool's 4th goal. You'll have to ask the Barcelona defence what on earth they were thinking they were doing.

Simply magnificent stuff!

Congrats to the Liverpool fans! So happy for you all.

Congrats to Liverpool on coming second in Champions League once again! Well done, lads.

Anyone else notice good guy Luis Suarez kept his promise to not celebrate scoring a goal at Anfield?

I showed my daughter the goal when she got home from school...

Her: "That's what you taught us to do at u12."
Me: "I don't think it ever fooled anyone."
Her: "Nope, not once."

Woof.

So, Divock Origi is a hero of the Kop now, right?

Also, what a way to breathe new life into the Messi v. Ronaldo debate!

But as far as Barcelona goes, what a utter collapse and choke job. This is two years in a row that Valverde's team have surrendered a three goal lead in a Champions League knockout (last year was in the QFs to Roma). If he hadn't just won the title his job would be in serious jeopardy. Hell, it probably should be.

EDIT: Also, second year in a row that Liverpool have put on an insanely entertaining Champions League Semi-Final. Never boring with the Reds.

Used to wind me up a bit when everytime ITV did a European game at Anfield, they would bring out the line "another famous European night at Anfield", even when they were playing some nobody in the group stages but for once I think it's self to use that line.

Hey, Messi made it further than Ronaldo this year.

And hey, if Liverpool could turn that around, there is no reason for Liverpool fans not to believe that Brighton might shock us all this weekend.

I mean, they almost certainly won't, but who knows? I saw a great tweet about this though, that it may end with City and Liverpool each getting the trophy the other wanted most.

*Puts the Liverpool match on the long list of sport things to watch.*

Too much sports this time of year. And I'm not even watching hockey and it's too early to get into baseball.

I am wearing one of my Liverpool shirts tomorrow, and it's not even Football Friday!

Out of curiousity, is this considered unsportsmanlike or "dirty pool" at this level? Like, who should be more ashamed, the team that did it, or the team that allowed it?

The team that allowed it. Only a sportswriter from 1915 thinks you have to make sure the other team is paying attention before you score a goal.

In a under-10s game, I'd say it's unsportsmanlike. These are professionals, they are paid to pay attention for 90 minutes.

EDIT: And as someone else pointed out on Twitter, Jurgen Klopp must give the greatest team-talks ever, because it seems like his teams might lose, but they never, ever give up.

Well I guess my Manchester United predicted place is going to stand out less than I thought.

Alright, Premier League predictions... pretty much all by gut because access to data is almost sucks. My predictions last year were terrible.

1. Manchester City
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. Tottenham
===========
5. Arsenal
6. Manchester United
7. Leicester City
8. Everton
9. Wolves
10. Fulham
11. Brighton
12. West Ham
13. Burnley
14. Crystal Palace
15. Bournemouth
16. Watford
17. Newcastle United
===============
18. Southampton
19. Huddersfield
20. Cardiff City

Don't ask me why I was looking way back in the beginning of the thread for this year, but I stumbled onto this post. Damn, Roke, that's some impressive work! It's not done yet, but you might get the top six in perfect order, and two of the three relegation teams.

If it's a team the press like then it's genius and they should have paid attention. If it's one they don't, then they are dirty Leeds

Come On You Spurs!

Was planning to go to the Houston Spurs pub for this, but by the time I wrapped up what I was doing at work I'd miss the beginning of the game. Watching at my desk instead.

So, Liverpool / Ajax final?

Will yesterday happened....

Currently 2-0 Ajax. Ajax over Liverpool would still be the ultimate outcome for us haters.
