Dying Light 2

Looking forward to it as I had a blast with the first one!

This is basically my game of e3. Can't wait.

Gamesradar is so annoying in that you can't read if using an adblocker.

I had such a blast with the first one. I remember initially being frustrated by it. It is one of those games where you really need to be patient and just evade until you start to power up and become a zombie terminator.

This was the biggest surprise for me of E3 and very happy to see it. Had no idea this was coming but can't wait. Had other things like Divison2, Last of us 2, and Fallout that have me excited but I knew about all of them before E3.

The original didn't grab me until my second try, but I really enjoyed it. Very much looking forward to this.

I didn't play the first one but I keep hearing how underrated it is and how it's arguably the best zombie game that's been made. Can you guys some up your thoughts on it and what games would you compare it to? Almost looks like a hybrid of L4D, Mirror's Edge and Far Cry.

Co-op Assasins Creed with Zombies. However, much better parkour and movement.

Open world like Far cry (although slightly better story IMO). Lots of things to do story and non-story. Combat is a little slow but once you get better weapons later on picks up (possibly why Aetius bounced off it just guessing). However, best movement climbing system i've ever seen in an open world game hands down. So much better fluid movement than Assassins Creed etc.

I bounced because I didn't pay attention to their marketing and was expecting another shoot-em-up zombie game. Thus at first I tried to bull my way through the zombies and failed miserably. Once I realized it was a parkour simulator with zombie obstacles, it clicked.

I loved the first game but the story was the weakest part. Seeing that Chris Avellone is the writer on this has me giddy!

I'm surprised this isn't getting more attention.

Even though Microsoft gave it a pretty big timeslot, I think it got lost among Halo and Gears and Cyberpunk. A dynamically reactive open world seemed like a pretty solid hook. That, coupled with solid writing, should make this a contender.

I am surprised the game isn't because the first game had pretty good reception. As far as the dynamically reactive openworld I think people are just shy because so many people have "said" similar things in past and always ended up being a shell of what people expected and wanted. What they showed absolutely looked good but we've been fooled before.
