The Division 2 - Catch All

Reinstalled, and a little lost with all the changes. All skills reset, new specializiations, full stash and inventory with no idea what's good anymore.

Might be best to just get the new NY DLC and start there, like a fresh start?

Can I get an invite for the PC clan?

If you get the DLC:
Anything 30 and lower could be used in your re calibration library. Though its only useful for when you level a new character. IMO its better if you sell or use them for materials. Greens at 31 will probably be better than anything you have. I think the DLC has been worth it. I enjoyed the new zone and what it has to offer. I really am enjoying the seasonal stuff, I dont think you get the manhunt stuff without the DLC.

While I am not in the Agents With Jobs clan, I welcome anyone to jump into whatever I am doing or I will be more than glad to assist what you are running.

I know those of us in LTN haven't really been on. Just wanted to throw this out there Igneus that if you wanted to jump over to the GWJ clan it's no biggie. Our company just landed a number of huge projects so we've all been working crazy hours to support it. On top of that I know Jess has shifted towards World of Warships and I think Code just logged in for the first time in months last night (he said he was going to, at least). I haven't really been playing much of anything lately, my family has shifted to 'family movie night' going from about 2000 to 2300 which was basically my time to get online. So yeah, don't want you stuck in a dead clan if you can hop over at the moment.

Are there open spots in the GWJ Div2 clan? My clan wasn't as active.

Which platform?

I own the game on all three platforms, but I primarily play on PC.

If you start playing on PS4 there is a place for you. Search for 'Agents With Jobs'.

I think PC has room with the same clan name.

Same name but without spaces

Send Ranalin01 a friend request or you can send a request directly to the clan within the clan ui.

You can also put your uplay name in the #division2 channel on discord (one of the last channels on the server)

Xbox clan has room and has been pretty active since the expansion.

If you get the DLC there's and if you have no plan on running an alt at that level for some reason, there's 0 reason to hang on to ANY of your gear that you have at level 30. Sell or break it all down. (personally i'd break down the guns and sell the rest)

Clan request sent for PS4!

Grrr, Season this week calls for Hyena bounties... I've had 3 all week

If I’m reading things correctly the league has a soft reset next week. So your total rank stays the same but the individual activities reset. I was able to get 10’s in the three mission runs (not the freaking heroic DARPA, that one is for masochists only), so in theory when the reset happens I just have to hit level 10 on those three to get max rewards

If you’re doing the manhunt just reset the last one. You’ll gain three hyena bounties and it won’t take away from your manhunt progress.

I’ve completed 12 bounties this week doing that.

So I’m most of the way through Warlords of New York. Once I complete the main storyline, should I clean up all the side activities before returning to DC, or can you go back to NYC whenever you want?

You can go back to NYC whenever. There will be projects to go back as well.

Ooh, thanks for the tip.

Excellent, ta.

I requested an invite to AgentsWithJobs on the PC.

Was able to get into a couple nice groups for the League Challenge runs. Was able to beat the Arena with a minute to spare. I have been hesitant to do those but, I am able to hold my own.

I hit 30 last week and beat the strongholds over the weekend. Read into the end game a bit but seems like most articles are a year old at this point. So, is it worth putting any time into gear score while stuck at level 30? Or should I wait till after I get the DLC and hit level 40?

Have you ever played an MMO and replaced your hard-fought quest or raid gear with the first pair of green pants dropped by a trash mob?

Do you enjoy that feeling?

Ha! Yes, exactly. I was having flashbacks to WoW but at least back then I was playing during the time between expansions. I never hopped in when there was an expansion and I just didn't have it, pointlessly grinding away at less than max level.

I mean if your not going to get the expansion, then why not work on your gear score? Only because you are going to want to hit as hard as you can while your playing. It will just be worthless when you get the expansion.

Can somebody point me at a primer for how the new gear stuff works? I haven't played in ages, but I just picked it back up again after grabbing the New York expansion. I want to start over from the beginning, though because I have so much fun playing through the story.

Oh, and as soon as I get my character leveled up I guess I want into the "real" GWJ clan, since I was in the overflow clan before, and it's kinda deserted.

If anyone is still playing, that is!

This looks interesting, looks like vertical underground. Hopefully only need to clear to floor 61 once to get to heroic difficulty floors unlocked or be allowed to start floor 1 at Heroic difficulty once you clear far enough once.

Honestly the whole TU11 update seems really good. This new skyscraper mode, new exotics, a new gear set, another brand set, new variants for pistols and shotguns, gear transmog, the removal of colored mod slots on gear, the reduction of rainbow loot. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for them to get through the PTS and get this rolled out to production.

Gear transmog?

GEAR TRANSMOG?!?!

*pants excitedly*

Gear transmog.

Why doesn't every game do this with common gear?!

The new brand set Hunter's Fury looks interesting. Kinda like Striker's Classified gearset with the Exotic auto shotgun in Div 1 which was fun.

The whole update does look good for sure.

Oh fantastic. It’s great in Guild Wars 2. I miss it so much in other games

I am a sucker for repeatable content like this supposed 100 level tower mode.

Maybe I'll give them a third chance on this one when it releases.

How even-more-broken-and-useless will all my gear builds be when I start the game back up?

I haven't played since I think the last week of season 1, or maybe just after.

Depends on your build. If you were skill based, you probably want to hop in and grind out a set of Eclipse Protocol and try to get a Vile exotic mask. That's basically the meta, which focuses on getting status effects applied and then spreading them across the battlefield... admittedly it's what I run as a skill/CC agent (foam/shock trap, and my group runs on Heroic most of the time). Otherwise for tanking and DPS there hasn't been any kind of major changes really since the expansion dropped... just tweaks and optimizations.

ive been out since I burned out on the season one content. This 100 floor building sounds like something up my alley.
