Story ended. World their one has arrived.

The real Division 2 starts here.

Just hit World Tier 2 myself. I thought the endgame was going to be a full repeat 5 times. But pleasantly surprised to see that isn't the case. Enjoying the endgame so far!

True end game starts at WT5.

I had the same worry. I've been playing with a couple people I work with who got me up to WT1, then over the last few days blew through the rest and hit WT5 last night. I unlocked all the strongholds first, and it was a pleasant surprise to get bumped to WT2 after I finished the first one.

Not going to spoil anything, but solo'ing the mission to jump to WT5 is one hell of a ride. Really thought I was going to bite the dust several times in a no respawn area.

Great to know there is a lot more ahead of me.

Edit: I’m really enjoying the surprises in world one. I think this might be my Diablo (ie I’ll play a ton of it and not get bored.)

Started up the game for the first time today since the Expeditions got added and I'm finding the game performs significantly less well than it used to? Load time on starting the game now is a flash which is really nice after the go-make-a-sandwich ordeal from the early days but I swear I'm getting like 15+ fewer fps than the last time I played?

I thought maybe it was something about the scenery in the zoo specifically but I went back to the main DC map and it's the same. I keep turning graphics settings down and it's not making any difference.

Probably something pegging the CPU...

Hey, can I get an invite to the PS4 clan? I'm HeidShot on PSN.

Sent!

I'm now in World Tier 3 *flex*

I truly loved the leveling experience, but now that I am .. Tier 5 (498), it is just so single player. I love the MMO in my games, is it just me, am I doing something wrong? I wish they had a better system for joining up in game (something like drop in, like Remnant). Generally I am not looking to be some leet player, just playing with others (even just randoms) is fun, because the game itself is fun.

((Side note, I got into the 480s due to inadvertently joining a friend who was running Tier 5. The loot dropping was Tier 5 (even with me being Tier 1 at that time), it made the grind from Tier 1 to Tier 4 silly easy, being so overpowered, so yeah, luck not real skill))

I am ceriastray on uplay if anyone wants to friend up and adventure. Would be great to play with a GWJer.

I answer the call of random requests for help. It’s fun. You can fill up a ‘sherpa’ bar and get rewards.

you can queue up for most activities in the game. If you do it from a safe house there's an option to LFG for 'roaming' which covers quests and control points.

World tier 4 and the combat is getting really quite intense (British understatement) Just took a control point on what was, I presume, was the highest tier of alertness. Holy crap so many enemies and the majority of them seeming to be elites. Good job the random group of three we were had out tactics down.

This game gets better and better.

Edit: Aaaaaaand world tier 5. Think I’ll take a trip to the zoo.

Title Update 6 is coming!!! Developers are saying sometime next month.

THE DIVISION 2 – STATE OF THE GAME RECAP: ETF ECHO FEEDBACK, TU6 GEAR AND LOOT UPDATES, PTS BUILD SOON

Picked this up today. I only managed 10 hours in the original and found it too bullet spongy.

An hour into this game and I feel like the gunplay is snappier and enemies are in the sweet spot of not being bullet sponges.

We'll see how I feel after another handful of hours.

Superficially the game looks like more of the same but as you play you realise it's been refined in all the right ways. Hope you enjoy it.

My group and I were boosting control points to 4 and clearing them out just to help me get geared up to 500, and we hit one that just blew our minds. Right when we started it an elite resource group spawned inside the control point, and before we finished an elite attack group spawned as well. We may have had another event or two spawn in the middle there, but I remember seeing those guys. When the dust had settled, about 40 minutes after we kicked it off, we'd had "ENEMY LEADER DETECTED" pop up at least a dozen times, we were all out of ammo, and the ground was just a sea of loot. I had to junk out my inventory twice just to collect it all.

When you get a good group together this game really, really shines. Right now the two that I run with are both fairly balanced builds, mostly focusing on pistols and another weapon each. I'm heavily spec'd for explosive damage... my damage output is insane, but I'm pretty squishy in comparison. Right now we're all just working on finishing up the gunner quests, two of us are grinding out the invaded control points for Nemesis, and just generally goofing around and steamrolling content. I'm really looking forward to the loot patch next month, should make recalibrating my gear easier and make me a little less squishy.

There's an apparel event going on right now. It started on Tuesday and will run for two weeks.

Also, here's a link detailing the changes coming in the next update: PTS Wave 2 Patch Notes

A LOT of rebalancing...

Thats a lot of tweaks. Kinda too late at this point it seems though as most people have moved on.

I will never stop defending our nation's capital. The citizens need me.

And I really like the loot

Overall I think these are good changes. Unfortunately it completely negates my current build which has +100% explosive damage stacked on my items. But there are enough benefits there to where I can put together a much more versatile/interesting gear set, and I mostly went with a skill damage build with stuff stacked because the weapons I enjoy using were pretty weak (sniper rifles, regular rifles, a number of AR's, and the Merciless).

I had one of these about a month back and it was so fun.

I'm not sure if it has continued, but I was in a mission on challenging one time and it either glitched or was deliberately changed because the mobs were in different places and there were many more of them (both in terms of waves and numbers per wave), but damage settings were not set to Heroic values. Was also super fun.

I’m three away from gear score 500. Another session and I’ll be there.

You'll be carrying me more than the 40 guns in your inventory next time I'm on Higgledy

I’ve worked out how to create loadouts and I’m going to have one that lowers my gear score from my usual level 500 awesomeness so it’s more fun when we’re co-oping

Oh never thought of that, nice one. I'll be on some nights this week for further progress.

Excellent! *Thumbs up emoji*
