Sorry if I missed it, but the thread is rather long. Are there any clan openings for PC left?

There's a second PC clan named MmmDrop. If you search by name, you should be able to put in a request and get in.

Awesome! Putting my request in right now! Thanks!

Anyone know how to get the ui that shows the armor/hp/skills to show persistently and not just when in combat? I found the setting in the beta to get it to do that but can't seem to find it now in the actual game.

In case you haven't found it should be under settings > Gameplay > Auto Hide HUD > Off

Awesome, thanks. Of course it wouldn't be under UI...

Noooo, clan progression reset today. Well we have more members now (And formed the clan halfway through what I now know is the weekly cycle), so hopefully we get some for this week.

Weird graphical issues earlier today- everything was way too dark as though I had turned brightness and contrast all the way down. It wasn’t too bad outdoors during day time, but any indoor location was nearly pitch black and nighttime was just black silhouettes against a slightly less black sky. It was unplayable. I thought maybe my tv levels had been messed with but other games and hulu/netflix et al all looked fine. I closed and restarted both the game and console multiple times but it remained way too dark to play. I left to do other things and came back four of five hours later to try again and now everything is inexplicably back to normal.

There are some areas that are pitch black in the night (And you ARE likely to be eaten by a Grue) - And some interior areas seem to take longer to allow your ..eh.. in-game eyes to adjust - at least, thats been my experience so far.

This was way beyond the normal effects that occur in the game. Even in direct lighting the player character was mostly a silhouette, and the opening title card that has the agents standing between the pillars was so dark that the pillars were completely black. Considering that’s a still image it probably wasn’t a lighting issue.

Whatever the problem was has resolved itself though. I’ve been playing most of tonight with no issues.

This is my turret. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My turret is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me, my turret is useless. Without my turret, I am useless.

Start by clearing markers and only adding what you are looking for but some great stuff here including hidden SHD tech's from Whitehouse district.

Damn, that's nice.

Here's a video I just saw about control points. I had no idea they had tiers and that you can increase their tier.

Do note Tier 3 can unlock blueprints. So late game technically Tier 3 are one of best things you can do being WZ 5 is (Supposedly) around the corner so gear score will increase. However, personally I hope they give WZ 5 a couple months until they release but doubt they will.

They talked about this in today's State of the Game. I don't think they will give a month but they do said that want to have most of the big issues fixed before tier 5. The rumor was it's going live next week, but that was denied.

Another thing I learned yesterday is that if you are giving resources to a control point officer to gain the detection perk, you only need to supply them up to 50. If the officer already has 50 of all resources, you only need to talk to them to get the perk.

Do note I love the game. Other than some of bugs (more than reasonable amount IMO) and listening to Crinkle complain about the keybinding issues (3892734928374293 times) my only complain so far is having World Tiers at launch kind of messes with the pacing.

You spend all level 1 - 30 raising your XP gear without ever really play with brand sets etc (while being teased by them). Then at level 30 I feel like you are ready to settle down grind gear and play with them. However, because world tiers were added at launch you go right into the gear rotation again for another X hours. Personally I think they could of done all the same content, but slowly released the WT levels. Don't get me wrong still having tons of fun and loving the end game. Just was kind of a weird part where we were rushing through WT 1-4 because wanted to start being able to stock up on gear.

A lot of people are acting like at this point it's not even worth stocking up on WT4 loot but I disagree. A lot of the fun is grinding out the gear and making your builds. I have no issue doing it now then in 1 - ? weeks when they released WT5 doing it again.

Not to mention between, side quests (including 5 non marked ones), Getting all SHD tech, Masks, and ivory keys so much to do late game. Not to mention just learning to do the missions on challenging both solo and with friends.

I agree with the disagreement. This just give us time to think of builds and how to go about getting them and with the calibration being required to sacrifice pieces to get what you want. you'll need a bevy of items with the parts/stats/talents you want to use at the cal bench.

Speaking of re-calibration. I was very "worried" about the new system from initial video's. I thought that it would make getting near perfect gear too easy. Remove the endgame "grind" which I enjoy the dangling carrot.

Two things that I was not aware from the video's (may have missed) that really made this better is.
1. There is still only 1 slot that you can move things over from
2. You can only change a Red stat to another red stat or blue stat to another blue stat.

I am now "fine" with re-calibration although think this is probably the only thing I find to be worse than the first one.

I sent a request to join the AgentsWithJob clan on PS4. I play almost daily with my nephew and my best friend so I'll add our usernames here in case they didn't listen to me and send a request:

Me: ksmooches
Others: Drock287 and W4Rp1G_13

While we play almost every day, we usually don't get on until like 7pm est, so we are still slow burning through the main story and I think the highest level is 16 or 17.

After using a LMG for quite a while I just switched from a level 7 green M249 to a blue level 9 MG5 then a crafted Level 9 blue M4 Police and it's made a huge difference in effectiveness. I liked that the M249 could just shoot all day, but when I started comparing I found the M4 was just *far* more accurate and stable; its damage numbers aren't as good but more bullets actually hit things. And since the M4's blue perk is +20% ammo, compared to the MG5 with mag pouch it has *more* shots.

Right now my loadout is the M4 and a M1A, with a scoped Model 700 in the inventory for long range. The M1 does great damage (1.1k) without being as slow as the 700, and is useful at more ranges. I still carry a LMG for suppression or when I want to ambush a patrol with a grenade followed by moar dakka just for fun

Now to hope they put in some kind of FOV control so the game doesn't give me mild headaches (not quite migraine-triggering, but I'm really cautious about this sort of thing).

FYI Somewhere around level 8 - 14 there is a side mission that you get from the Theatre. It is an extended light mag. It works in 5.56 AR's (police M4). It is Mag +30 (bullets not percent) for -10% Rate of fire. Very worth wild and I would do as soon as you unlock. It now makes AR's have mag's like LMG's. Police M4 with the 20% perk go's up to 72 bullet mag. Without perk 61

Right now assault rifles seem a little busted in their effectiveness, being too effective, especially with the justice dept mag, but that could just be a side effect of me not reaching max level.

except for LMGs all others get extended mags as well.

LMG's rain supreme early game because of the deep mag.
Once you get larger AR mag they are supreme (being you can get one near level to drop that uses 5.56) until late game.

It's to early to tell late game but so far I don't feel like anything is grossly under powered.

I have been focusing mostly on AR, Ranalin has used a lot of LMG and both have had no issues doing 2 man Challenge missions.
The brutal talent is very good which is a plus for Shotgun/SMG/AR. However, to use it effectively requires a very specific build and can be a bit scary.
Shotguns might be a bit week form watching others but I've seen a SMG hold it's own and Ranalin was using one.
Marksman rifle's are fine as always. You really need to hit head shots and need a closer range gun but I use one mainly as my second weapon and my second build I'm building around one.
Rifle's the in between in AR/Marksman and I do not like them but they very well may be good. I simply don't enjoy them.

Have you tried the FOV tweak from the video at the bottom of the previous page?

I have a Radeon card so I don't think it'll work, but I'll see if there is something comparable (I'd hope so with AMD pushing this game so hard).

State of game they stated FOV slider was coming in a future patch. I am not sure if that was the next patch or not.

My thoughts exactly.

They are good, I've been using them for about 10 levels but eventually grew tired of fast-clicking that is required with them. I am old.

I am lvl 21 now and my opinion might change again but right now I really like the AR/SMG combo. AR is an all-around versatile weapon and SMG is to trigger those nice crit hit oriented perks. This combo might have some issues at long range but not too bad and it shreds everything mid and short range.

While leveling up though, I am not worrying too much about "pre-set" combos. I just equip whatever highest level weapons that drop to experience new weapons and see if I can find a way to like them.

So far, I definitely don't like marksman rifles. I like to be up close and personal.

Level 28 with a tiny slither of xp to get for 29. So close to 30 now. Honestly I know all the talk about not having WT5 out already, but honestly, I'm having a sh*t tonne of fun just playing in normal. I'll work my way through the world tiers eventually, but for now it's just pure bliss doing missions, exploring and getting new gear.

This is my Game of the Year, easily. The level of detail they've put into the world, the mission design, the enemies. It feels polished and you can see the care and attention to detail. Been playing most nights with my brother and the two of us just roam around doing all the things and having a good time. Such an amazing game!

The Division 2 uses Dolby Atmos for Headphones for 3D sound, and it sounds incredible. If you set the sound output to Headphones, you can turn off your PC's spatial sound if you use it. For some reason the game's native 3D sound when set to headphones sounds much better than even Windows Dolby Atmos for Headphones with 7.1 and "Home Cinema" mix selected in the game.

I sent a Clan request for MmmDrop on the PC. Fingers crossed that I'm good enough to get in!

Is it worth joining a clan? Do you get a special decoder ring and eye patch or something?
