Tyrod Taylor is competent enough that they ought to be in it a few games in spite of themselves. It's not like they don't have any talent. Hyde and Duke at RB. Gordon and Landry at WR. Njoku at TE. Guys that can score. Defense has a few pieces too.
But, or course, their roster last year shouldn't have won 0, so...
As for replacing Hue, probably one of their coordinators. Either choice ensures they get kind of a dick for their interim HC.
Gawd, neither coordinator is someone I'd want running the team. Ick.
I think they'll win six this year.
I think the Browns will win at least as many games on Sundays as they have won the last two years combined!
Perennial screw-up ref Jeff Triplette now ESPN's rules analyst for MNF. Apparently at the insistence of the NFL.
NFL is planning to suspend Buccaneers’ QB Jameis Winston the first three games of the season for violating the personal conduct policy, league sources tell ESPN.
ESPN’s Tallahassee host Jeff Cameron initially reported Winston was bracing to be suspended - and he will be.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) June 21, 2018
What did he do?
Apparently something that should come as no surprise to anyone:
The league began its investigation in November 2017 when a woman, who identified herself as "Kate," told BuzzFeed that Winston reached over and grabbed her crotch while waiting at a drive-thru at Los Betos Mexican Food at 2 a.m.Restaurant management told ESPN that they did not have security footage of the drive-thru. No police charges were filed, but the driver did file a formal complaint with Uber. She told BuzzFeed that she wanted to tell the truth "about a powerful man who felt entitled to my body when all I wanted to do was my job." Uber confirmed to ESPN that Winston's riding privileges were revoked, but Winston did not notify the league of the complaint.
What did he do?
Took the Presidents advice.

Close the thread. We can't do better than this.
Geeze never have a franchise QB, finally get someone half way decent and the kid is frakking idiot.

This was impossible to predict.

Also you put Ryan Fitzpatrick behind him, which basically guarantees he will miss time. Speaking of which, enjoy your new starting quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick!
Was listening to local radio talk about Winston this morning and it got me thinking. Had Winston been an actor, talk show host, or director, he would have lost his job and most future opportunities based on what we know.
But Winston gets three games and coverage is more about the impact to the team and if he can win enough to get them to the playoffs. Why is this douche still on a roster, but kneeling Colin Kapernick not?
It’s a pretty big FU to women and the #metoo movement. We just had a party over the collapse of Chris Hardwick’s career on this site, and that was based on one blog post of a former girlfriend that accused him of being controlling and sexually assaulting her via guilt.
What message do we want our pro leagues sendingvto high school and college players?
He could also go into politics, clearly.

I believe you meant...
Yup. Just like:
Tampa gives up on these franchise QBs too soon!
Ooooooo, can I play?
I'll remember that Legion called Trent Dilfer a franchise QB for sure.

Fresno State: first bowl win vs USC
Tampa Bay: first playoff win in almost 20 years, second in team history
Baltimore: first Super Bowl win in Ravens/old Browns history
All he did was win.

Except, Dilfer was not the QB for that game, Shaun King was.
in 1999 Dilfer only played 10 games was 59.8% with 11TD/11INT with a 161.9 ypg average.

Bruh.
I'm not talking about 1999.
Damn you got me. I totally forgot about that Detroit game. I do remember being in the middle of the ocean in the Navy during it. Still - Dilfer was 50% 181yds 1/1 in that game.
Still - Dilfer was 50% 181yds 1/1 in that game.
Thats 50% in the pre-Polianball era, throwing to Reidel Anthony and Horace Copeland, with whom perfect passes only had about a 50% chance.
I saw this funny thing on the Twitter.
BortlesFacts should try IHOb, that's just the kind of thing they need to salvage that failed rebranding.
I bet you $1 mil of someone else's money that IHOP has seen substantial increases in sales since the IHOb marketing campaign.

Then there's this:

At least according to this, it doesn't seem to be happening. We'll see when all is said and done.
Now here's a headline I didn't think I'd see: Police believe deceased was strangled or suffocated at Janoris Jenkins’ house.

Well, I mean, if someone said, "make a list of NFL players ranked by the likeliness you would expect a dead body to be found at their house", Janoris Jenkins would definitely be in my top 1/4th.
Some happier news is that Saquon Barkley bought his parents a house. I love stories like this. Congrats to him and his family, though I hope you don't end up with CTE...
