Magic: The Gathering Arena - Catch All

Is that the one from the Solely Singleton podcast folks? I trust that it's a good list based on the relevant podcast episodes, though I've not looked at it myself.

I would also expect the cube enthusiast community to underrate the budget retail options.

I think it is that one, yeah.

Man, speaking of Arena, I wish they had left MOM up. I'm not digging LOTR, and I would happily still be drafting MOM this weekend if it was an option.

I've picked up playing Magic, both in Arena and with paper. Been having a good time especially in Arena because it helps a newbie like me keep track of all the triggers, opportunities to play a response, etc.

I've been playing almost exclusively with a Green/White +1/+1 counters deck that's a lightly modified version of a current starter.

Welcome to the addiction cult hobby!

Do they have Commander on Arena yet?

No Commander. The closest they have is Historic Brawl, which is 1-on-1, 100 card decks, every card on Arena (with a small ban list), 25 life, and legendary creatures or planeswalkers as commanders.

They did recently say they're working towards higher player counts in Arena, fwiw.

It’ll be interesting to see if Arena gets multiplayer before or after MTGO gets its big multiplayer improvement update.
