I appreciate your forum archeology in going back a few pages to find me saying something like that.

A few pages?! I'm pretty sure Fed says that about once every half hour during football season and every hour on the hour the rest of the year.

We doing a bowl pick em thing at ESPN?

It certainly wasn't hard to find.

It was more work finding a poll where Fresno and TAMU were exactly next to each other. They're 19 and 21 in CFP and the same (but order flipped) in the AP. I had to go all the way down to the Coaches Poll!

That's good bull! I'm ol' army redass like that. Whoop!

Looks like Louisville going with Satterfield from App St. 10 wins 3 of the last 4 years. Seems solid.

Board meeting at 4pm tomorrow with press conference at 4:30.

I think you'll like him. He's competent and no drama and built the former I-AA champs into a top 25 FBS program.

He could have been Coach for Life at App State -- he played QB there back in the '90s -- but I guess he has a little bit more ambition than that.

The Solid Verbal thought that was a great hire.

Btw I was mentioned on a recent episode of the podcast! When they were saying "LISSSSTEN" in that edgy way they do, Dan said "Someone said he hates when we do that" - THAT WAS ME! I tweeted them a couple of weeks ago saying that when Ty does opening ad reads starting "Verballers, LISSSSSSSTEN", that gives me ear cancer.

Urban is out at Ohio State in a move that I am sure is completely unrelated to his suspension and the scandal earlier this year.

Also explains why no one with openings hired Day. He had head coach job lined up already

It's just weird how those things always line up chronologically.

On the one hand, good riddance.

On the other hand, I'm upset that we never beat him, and now we'll never have another chance.

My wife, who is an Ohio State alum, is laughing at you now.

In their team's 128 years of existence, Ohio State has only managed to beat Fresno State twice.

...out of two meetings according to winspedia.com.

Time to break the streak!

So FSU's offensive coordinator left to take the head job at UMass.

One of the names being kicked around is... Kendall Briles.

No. F'ing. Way.

I will chalk this up (for now) as media speculation, but if FSU were to go this way it would be the end of my support of the team. Period.

No amount of success would be worth having that name associated with this program, especially given our recent history.

Had to Google that name - hell no, Keep that crap out of FSU.

Yeah it's nice to be proud of all my school's coaches and administration now after a few years of turmoil.
