My 13-year-old daughter is getting progressively more serious about drawing, and does have some talent. I'm thinking of getting her a digital tablet; any advice on what level to go to? There are super-cheapies, and things into the hundreds. It's the kind of thing I really think she'd use pretty extensively as long as it's not garbage and the pen works well.
I recently purchased my kid a Wacom Intuos. The smaller size seemed like it'd be a bit too small, so we went with the medium. From what I've read, the multi-touch that some tables have isn't too helpful. This is the same tablet that they use in their art class, so I think it'll work well.
I used a Wacom waaaay back when. My oldest uses a Wacom Intuos these days and does commissioned work on it. They're very happy with it.
