I like the setting but it seems to be from a company that loves to have you grind.

Looks fantastic but also look like it will be a mile wide and 1/4 deep:

mounted combat

flying ship combat

harvesting
custom housing construction
mech combat
mech combat on ships

It's also should be noted that this is no longer going by A:IR, but Elyon

I was under the impression that PUBG never really worked right? I didn't play it, but I have the vague impression that the player base was pretty annoyed with it.

While the same company that isn't this. Also in spite of it's flaws it's been highly successful.

Lots of changes to this game over the past months.
It is no longer tab target and much more action oriented. It is now described as a cross between Tera and Black Desert online.
The game has lessened focus on air combat to strengthen the core ground combat.
They have completely overhauled the skill system.
They plan on releasing to the west "this year".

I am more optimistic about this game now.

Korean Launch announced. 12/10.

US site is now open although a bit bare.

Is there a translation for the Korean site?
It would be nice to get some concrete info now what 3 years later?

The game is, okay with initial impressions.
The combat feels to me more like a faster paced less weighty Wildstar.
At least the classes I've played with the reliance on telegraphs.

I am enjoying the mystic the most. The gunner is pretty cool and the elementalists have a cooler version of arcane missiles. I do not get the feel of the assassin at all. I know that class is going to be ranalin's favorite.

The early game seems manic. A lot of it has to do with all the newbs running around, the spawns are popping all over the place and they throw levels at you like candy.

It actually makes me miss Wildstar. I never gave that game enough time. I think the pacing and the density and spiraling nature of the world map made Wildstar boring after a while. It was its fatal flaw well before you got to the "way hardcore!" raiding.

Look is a bit generic Korean MMO but the combat is a bit interesting as a gunner.
