2018 NBA Catch-All - LeBron Fallout Edition

As witnessed in game 2, when the Warriors collapse it just isn't fun. So I'd love to praise the Rockets for not playing ISO ball but I think it really boiled down to them moving the ball very well in the limited 1.5 quarters I saw of game 2. Of course the brief blips from sports talk was nothing but "lord god Harden" for that game *sigh*

Kevin Durant didn't get enough help in game two, in my view. He killed us game one, he tried to kill us game two.

*tumbleweed*

Did anybody get to watch that last game?

Just not fun.

Celtics couldn't get back under 8.

This is like the playoffs last year, where the teams are just trading blowouts. Not very fun to watch.

Also, I wish Stephen A Smith would just go away. He has been an annoying blowhard for as long as I can remember. I don't understand why ESPN keeps him on air.

I think more offensive than him, and he is hard to take, is that his show with Max Kellerman continues the sexist format of having hot woman sit between two blowhards, as she moderates, gets almost zero input, but serves the role being mansplained to for an hour. ESPN has gone a long ways in giving women more meaningful and lead roles around their network, so I don't understand how First Take remains on the air in the current format.

So the thought passed through my head that a Rockets/Celtics finals would be so much better than a Warriors/Cavs finals again. And I want the Warriors to win again this year something fierce.

Then another thing popped in my head as the headlines read "LeBron Scores 40 in Win":
Where are the other 70+ points going to come from to compete with the Warriors?

Let's go, Rockets!

The way these games go, we'll know it's over by the end of the third.

Thought it was over in the first 4 minutes. 3rd quarter should be interesting.

6 minutes left in the game and the Rockets are playing great D.

Houston just hugging on screens. It’s kind of ridiculous.

Some terrible last 2 minute possessions. Wow.

This one turned out a little different.

Home court advantage returns to Houston!

Yeah. Some vintage late 90s / early 00s basketball there.

Both series are tied up. Been some ugly games, but both series will go at least 6 games. Could be some exciting endings.

Yeah, someone mentioned the fact that both series were tied at the end of the TNT broadcast and I thought, "Man, these are ugly series to be so close."

I fell asleep twice during the fourth quarter.

I really hate this Cavs team. I hope they lose soon and I can stop pretending I care about basketball.

Come on, Houston!

Maybe if these commercial breaks weren't five minutes long the Dubs might get an offensive rhythm going.

This is some of the most boring offensive basketball that I can remember in the last 5 years.

dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble fadeway
dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble drive
dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble-dribble fadeaway

Hate it.

Klay warming up.

Chris Paul’s shimmy . He’s so salty.

Warriors need to stop trying to coax shooting fouls. Saw that kill their possessions multiple times in g4 and this one.

That last shot by Gordon may have broken the Dubs.

Edit: Quinn Cook?!

Double Edit: And CP3's hurt.

What a f*cking joke. Harden walks, inadvertent whistle

Turnovers may be the Warriors' epitaph this series.

17 turnovers. Just giving it away

Wow another horrible last few minutes for GSW.
