The Creator Of Broken Sword Is Bringing Cyberpunk Thriller Beyond A Steel Sky To Switch

Don't see a lot of cyberpunk in it but it looks like a fun adventure.

It looks more like Decopunk, much closer to Bioshock than steampunk.

I keep hoping for a good dragon game one day. No idea if this will be it but it looks kinda cool.

I was just looking around to see which thread would be the best to post that in. I'm cautiously excited for that game, having loved BG:DA and BG:DA2 (for which I presume this is a spiritual successor).

Is it just me or does this look a little generic? A little like a moderately upgraded Neverwinter. And while that is a bland MMO, at least that has more classes and more customization including no gender or race locks for classes. Who is developing this?

I should be the target market for this and I can't even muster a shrug...

edit: It looks like it is being developed by Tuque games, a supposed AAA developer who's only game is the twin stick shooter Livelock. (published by Perfect World)

This article's title indicates we should temper our exciting for a successor to DA

"Spiritual successor" means it doesn't share a name with its precursor. That's why it's not called a sequel. A game can't be a spiritual successor "in name only".

Breath of the Wild at 8K resolution with ray tracing is a sight to behold

Obviously, 8K Breath of the Wild with ray tracing is not actually running on Switch but instead being played on an emulator. Regardless, from the footage above, we get to see all of this in action, and it makes an already beautiful game look even prettier.

If we are going for unique and beautiful, I stumbled across this voxel engine (John Lin's sandbox) a couple days ago:

Forspoken
*well this is quite pretty.

I am holding out some hope for Hired Gun but so many Warhammer games, so many disappointments. Plus, did someone say Outriders?

edit: Hmmm... its by the space hulk deathwing devs... Why no other playable classes/factions?

Agreed, and according to Polygon same team as Death wing.

Yes, it's by the folk who did Deathwing, but on the plus side, they also did the utterly bananas E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. With a single character focus, I hope it's much more in line with E.Y.E.

A more simplistic mobile version of Rocket League is coming for phones/tablets

A space sim sorta?

Looks like a Soulsborne game

Gollum before The Hobbit?

Gollum before Fellowship. He wasn't in Mordor until after Bilbo took the ring.

Not that WB Interactive ever cared about continuity.

Whoops, I missed that there was a question about Gollum before the Hobbit and that cces was clarifying that question. Nevermind me

Haunted Space - some clue about the gameplay would be nice. The ship design is marvelous, but a handful of clips a few seconds long doesn't really sell me. The story outlined by that voiceover was as generic as could be.

A Pro and Beginner Take on Monster Hunter Rise

Coming from new developer Covenant, Gord is a new city-builder survival RPG set in a dark-fantasy world where monsters and other threats aim to destroy your growing village.
