I have played a lot of racing games, but nearly all of them arcade style racers like Need for Speed, The Crew, Forza Horizon. So yeah, it’s quite an adjustment. Another problem I have is that RT for some reason in WRC feels like an on-off switch, regardless of how I set dead zones.
It’s still an open question whether I’ll get too frustrated before I get used to it.
As Jonman says, the more powerful, turbo cars are a nightmare for new players.
I'll add that all Subarus drive so very weird until you get used to them. They almost feel like the throttle is a increase slip pedal at first. Figuring out how to really take advantage of them in the last 2 rally games has been a long road, even for me after playing rally games since the early 2000's and being a lover of Subarus.
