Thank you. I don't think that joke landed like I wanted it to.

I got it, but it was pretty subtle - particularly the bit about being able to play most of the game, rather than all of it.

There are some minor additions, aren't there? It wouldn't be accurate to say that you could play everything.

FWIW, it landed perfectly on me. Confusion at first, then dawning realization, then feeling stupid I didn't get it sooner.

Assuming that's what you were going for, mission accomplished. (:

I dont "mind" that many Wiiu games got ported to the Switch. I understnad why... but still, we need more original games.

Clocky is eternally damned to suffer us fools not being able to get on her level.

Wasn't Wii U just a demo of Switch, anyway? It didn't look finished so I skipped it, the very first Nintendo console I did.

You had a Virtual Boy?

Well it's technically a mobile device not a home console, but yes I played on one for a few days yes.

In college a friend of mine had one of those little LCD screens that clipped to the top of a GameCube. He worked as an on-call handyman and he used it to play Wind Waker in his van while he waited for something to break in the dorms.

Anyway, that setup was more of a mobile device than the Virtual Boy.

I mean why else did the GameCube have a handle?

Gamecube is still probably my favorite physical console design.

It was a very nice console desing.
Btw.... I hope the Bowser addon for 3Dworld is good

My only beef with the Gamecube design is that it hamstrung itself by insisting on those little mini-discs. Still, I'll always remember the X-Play where they tied the three major consoles to the back of a truck and drove down a dirt road dragging them behind, and the Gamecube still worked when they were done.

Oh, also the Switch is pretty neat. Sorry for the tangent. (-:

You must be stoked for Series X then, it's basically six GameCubes taped together.

The Series X warms my heart because now my big couch-gaming HTPC case no longer looks like an outlier.

Any good couch-co-op games that I might not be thinking of. Like not AAA titles?

Overcooked?

Have it on PS4.

Children of Morta
Full Metal Furies
Moon Hunters
Nine Parchments

Those come to mind right away. I'm sure there are many more.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Pode
Cook Serve Delicious 2
Diablo 3
Rayman Legends
Unravel Too
The Stretchers
Monaco

Hey, I forgot about The Stretchers! Is it good? Looked like fun to play with a kid.

Death Squared.

(It frequently goes on sale; the most recent sale price was $1.50 USD.)

Thief Town is like a simplistic version of Among Us

So we were just gifted a Switch and a Ring Fit Adventure! Yay! Any suggestions on an affordable second dock so we can switch it between two TV's, please?

Skull & Co

I'm wary of buying any second dock from almost anyone but Nintendo since so many producers fail to understand the voltage differences and end up frying the Switches. Does Skull and Co have a good track record on that?

Back when docks were having issues with safe power delivery, the Best Buy Insignia dock was the "safe" 3rd party dock.

I have two of them and they indeed have functioned without issue. They're also pretty low profile so I use one as a travel dock.

Don't they not sell those anymore at Best Buy?
