Those are some of the typical ones you hear about so you've probably burned through them. Stampy really is the best, despite his annoying ass voice.

My kids have watched an insane amount of both.

Thanks, he's not seen those or watched many Youtube channels tbh. Will take a look at those.

He was obsessed with Zebra Gamer for a while, which was fine, in the quite annoying but squeaky clean camp and played a bunch of Nintendo and stuff like the Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare etc.

Then looking for someone new on the recommendations on various sites (including common sense media, usually quite conservative in their kids age recommendations) as family friendly he shifted to Captain Sparklez recently - started out fine, but last couple times have sat in there has been some properly non appropriate language. F*** and D*** and so on, must be he changed his target audience since those recommendations.

Cheers for the tips.

Stampy has gone down really well with the boy, thank you. Also Stampy accent > US accent. Loving the shorts, I had a smile here and there too.

Apparently he has watched DanTDM at a mates, not so enamored there.

But Stampy and Abdallah, winners and keep him happy for a while, ta.

Edit: Yet to try Arlo.

My daughter really likes LDShadowLady and Sqaishey Quack for Minecraft streamers.

You'll find lots of older vids with her and Stampy. Not sure if they still do vids together anymore but they used to back when they were dating.

Garion still ships them.

Hey, it's Episode I Racer release day!

Star Wars Episode 1 Racer delayed hours before its release date

Aspyr announced the game had been delayed for an undefined period due to disruption caused by remote working.

Ha, just from that I infer that their lead dev was harping on everyone to get it done on time but they finally decided on the last day not to release a buggy mess and told Nintendo last minute. Good decision, ultimately, but uncomfortable.

So we got a hot Paper Mario for Switch announcement that came out of nowhere, and the game comes out in July.

https://www.usgamer.net/articles/pap...

This is great! I love Paper Mario!

Not the official trailer but here is some gameplay

Official trailer:

Thanks to that Metroid helmet gag at the end my mind is whirling about wondering if this trailer was meant to lead into an announcement trailer for that rumored Fusion remake in the E3 Nintendo Direct.

I was honestly surprised by how epic the trailer felt compared to playing Sticker Star and Color Splash. I never played the original Paper Mario or Thousand Year Door, starting with Super Paper Mario, so this definitely feels like they're going the "bigger and bolder" route from my perspective. In addition, the press release indicated that Mario gets additional party members as well, which would match the rumors of a new Paper Mario closer in style to the original two games would be releasing.

Regardless, I'm ready for more Nintendo announcements, please, while contemplating the fact that I'll be playing this and Ghost of Tsushima on the same day.

From the trailer it looks like we're getting a more epic story than the previous games. We have the return of the RPG battles with partners from TTYD with a new ring battlefield that could definitely add interesting strategic layers to the combat system.

So basically this is everything that we Paper Mario fans have been clamouring for over the past 20 years. Well, I'm hyped as hell.

Then why was "Sticker Star 3" trending on Twitter today?

I'll admit I have no dog in this fight. I want it to be good and didn't mind Sticker Star. It seems there was a fairly negative reaction, though.

I didn't buy a Switch to play new games, where are my sweet sweet port announcements?

There's a contingent of Paper Mario fans who want either a literal port of The Thousand-Year Door, or an apology from Nintendo written in the sky with fireworks and a promise to never, ever make another Paper Mario game that deviates from TTYD... and also a port of TTYD.

I've never even played a Paper Mario game but this sounds good to me!

It's a bit outside of that sweet spot of Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2013, but it would still be a worthwhile port.

That trailer definitely grabs my attention, but I want to see some details about that combat system that takes place on what looks like a circular arena. That looks wild.

The first thing to remember is that the only reason people are on Twitter is to have an argument. It's not a good marketing tool, it's not a good social interaction tool, it's not a healthy anything tool. It's not even the best meme-spreading tool. It's a hate machine and the sooner you delete your account the happier you'll be.

Theoretically.

Unless you were born a miserable jerk like I am. But hey, I have no regrets ditching Twitter.

But realistically, it's because most people don't know what they want, they just know when what they want isn't it. Clock is right that people just want a straight up port of Thousand Year Door, but I think it's also that there's bound to be elements within Origami King that are likely evolutions of what were in Sticker Star and Color Splash. Like you, I don't have a dog in the fight, but it took a while for me to see any content in the trailer that wasn't reminiscent of Sticker Star or Color Splash. The question is, were those elements always part of Paper Mario? It makes sense to me, since even my introduction of Super Paper Mario was about playing with that flat, paper-character aesthetic. But if it wasn't, then people are going to automatically assume, and then make asses out of themselves.

That, and because of the nature of Twitter, there's going to be a healthy portion of people using that hashtag to insult the people using the hashtag. Because Twitter.

Best to just leave those people be in their bickering bubble, watch the trailer, and think "Man, video games are pretty sweet."

I just want the 3D World port ASAP so people can play it, realize it’s the Mario GOAT, and start clamoring for a sequel.

Also Sqaishey Quack = 111 slime rancher vids, as good as it is that seems a lot for that game.

According to Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat that 2013 game port is Pikmin 3 Deluxe which should be revealed later this year, alongside those 3D Mario Remasters.

Apparently the new Paper Mario is listed as an "Action, Adventure" game on Nintendo's website and because it's not listed as an RPG, our dreams of a "true sequel" to TTYD are dashed and sack cloth and ashes and weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I've seen comments that the announcements of the last few weeks and this and looks like more soon are Nintendo's response to no-E3.

Wow.....I had thought that population would be zero persons since you started at what was the bottom of the series and then found the new bottoms. You really owe it to yourself to find a way to find and go through. They're a real joy. Just remember that if you are playing on original hardware to never, ever play with composite cables when there are S-Video, component, and more complicated options now to convert to HDMI. It's too eyes-bleeding horrifying to play anything on composite nowadays.

* note: I do like SPM, just not as much as the first two. The others.....not so much.

The original is available to purchase on WiiU shop channel so I'll probably snag that at some point. I might just go on a purchasing binge when the WiiU's VC shop is gonna get shut down.

Give me all the ports I never played.

I didn't play Color Splash but I've liked all four other Paper Mario games quite a bit. I'm mixed on Super Paper Mario, but the others are stand out games on their platforms. I've pre-purchased Origami King and can't wait to play it.

Watched the trailer. It looks fun and I'll probably play it.

I never played TTYD, so I don't have a particular hangup on the modern games being like the original. I've never finished a game in the series, however, while I have finished a couple Mario and Luigi games.

I just bought a used copy a Pilmin three as a birthday present for myself, hopefully arriving tomorrow, so I hope it’s not Just a simple port.

We don't tolerate slurs about ports here my friend.
