New TV Season 2017-18

DC Legends of Tomorrow

Spoiler:

Beebo! F-ing hilarious!

I think the best part was the long setup. He shows up in multiple episodes and on other shows.

Gotham:

Twitter may have spoiled tonight's episode for me, but I will put said spoilers in the cloaked area or whatever it's called...

Spoiler:

a.) How much did Ford pay to get a Mustang to be the proto-Batmobile?

b.) It seems they're adapting the recent thing from the comics that there is/was multiple Jokers.

Anyone watching Krypton? It's on SyFy, the description of the show didn't tweak my interest but on a lark I decided to check out the first episode and I was pleasantly surprised. The production quality is pretty great and I am enjoying the story.

I'm watching it. I'm not sure how I feel about the show yet.

I just caught up with Legends of Tomorrow.

I don't think anything on TV has made me laugh so much in years as the back half of this season. The show is ridiculous, the writers know it and embrace it and it's just fun.

And that season finale was... perfect? Yes perfect.

I was wondering about this one. I'll need to check it out.

Ash vs Evil Dead has been cancelled. Oh well, at this point all the characters have died and/or been possessed several times and Bruce has been soaked in every conceivable bodily fluid so maybe it’s best to end it before the show runs out of ideas.

The last episode was all about the Zod family which was really good.

It's weird watching Krypton and Supergirl in concert with every time Kara Zor-El invoking Rao and Krypton's version of the Voice of Rao showing up and making you realize she and Kal really aren't missing much from their home planet.

We're finally getting caught up on the back half of this latest season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Such an amazing show.

That journey has been quite the roller-coaster.

Spoiler:

First: So Jerome is the Joker?

Then: Oh he's dead, guess he's not the Joker.

Then: OF COURSE, brought back to life. Definitely the Joker!

Then: Hrm, this isn't the first time he died.

Then: OHHHHHH, that sneaky bastard.

We're finally getting around to finishing the latest season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and holy crap is it amazing. I'm gonna miss this show.

I've loved it since it started, what a great show! I think next season is going to be its last. I can't think of many other shows that can have me laughing like crazy and then feeling like I am going to start sobbing the very next minute.

Yeah, next season is its last, which I'm fine with. As much as I love the show, I'd rather see it go out on its terms.

Totally agree. It'd be really nice to see Rebecca find some semblance of happiness.

I dunno man, I'm not sure she deserves it.

When I look at the pieces of work that raised her, I have a lot of sympathy for her.

Yeah, but for me that sympathy only goes so far. We finished season 3 tonight. Holy. sh*t.

The 100 returns Tuesday night. Looking forward to it.

Calling out Clarke for being a dumbass and thinking Octavia the Skairippa would not triumph in the conclave? Very effective way to win me over, New Character! Well done!

Krypton character spoiler

Spoiler:

Was surprised they had Doomsday on the show.

It will be pretty hard to come up with a way to stop a bad guy of that level. I'm guessing they will never take him out of the space he is in.

This weeks episode of Lucifer:

Spoiler:

Totally chocked up at the end.

Watching the latest Brooklyn Nine Nine and there's a B story about active shooters and dead cops. Yup, that’s my idea of comedy.

They go there sometimes. In a previous season there was an episode where the A story was about racial profiling, with Terry Crews’ character getting accosted by cops while searching for his kid’s toy in his front yard.

The wife and I have thought that Lucifer's writing was starting to go downhill. But the end of the latest episode really gave us hope for the future.

On another note, we are loving Instinct. It's every police procedural ever where two unlikely partners are paired up to investigate crimes. But this time there is no chance for a romantic relationship (Alan Cumming's character is gay). It's actually a pretty good show.

Yep, sometimes comedy shows tackle topics that aren't funny. Cheers, Friends, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Blackish, Fresh Off The Boat, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend...pretty much every TV series that is generally funny have all had episodes and storylines that were not all goofs. Sometimes when something is popular you can use that to bring up topics that people normally would rather not think or care about.

Type Fresh Prince on youtube and this is the first result.

Not sure where else to put this, but What We Do In The Shadows is becoming a tv series, from Jemaine Clement & Taika Waititi. It looks like much of the original cast will be along for it too! Set to premiere in spring of 2019.

What about We're Wolves?!
