It's that time of the year again... Steam Summer Sale 2017 Buy-All

Pages

Hello Steamers Anonymous! In all likelihood, the Steam Summer sale (or Winter if you hail from beyond the Equator) will be upon us by the end of the month. Can't believe anyone hadn't created a thread yet!

Any particular games you plan to get? Budgets you intend to (try to) abide by?

Great gif! I might finally get Witcher 3... although my PC is currently dead... I have a problem...

For once I'll be moving during the Steam Sale which will hopefully save my wallet. I may still pick up some cheap indies and DLC but that's about it.

Gonna try and stay strong on the Witcher - my promise to myself was I would finish one major rpg before tackling another.

I may be getting old and grumpy, but I just don't see much out there that interests me right now. Of course, I've said that in the past and spent $200 during the sale, so...

I'll try to stay under $100 this time. Should be easy since I already bit on the recent Witcher 3 sale where the GOTY edition was $24 or whatever. That's $24 I don't have to count against my total!

The Internet tells me that the sale will start on June 22, so we're about 2 weeks out.

I'm kinda hoping for a deal on the Zero Escape games, but my pile is so big I really need to watch myself.

Oh, who am I kidding. I'll add another 50 games...

Pretty much every game I buy is going right on the pile. But Endless Space, Dishonored 2, Dawn of War 3 and Dawn of Andromeda would be intriguing. And of course the requisite Game I Didn't Know I Wanted Until It Was On Sale and The DLC Avalanche.

My pile is as big as ever. But I am ready. My steam wish list is pretty much also as big as ever.
Steam sale has been really lackluster for a while now though, so in the end I might not get that much. Maybe other sites will againl have the really good deals.

In particular interested in sales for Cosmic Star Heroine, Prey, The Surge, RimWorld, all of which are relatively new, so not holding my breath. Most often I end up buying something else entirely anyway.

I'll be keeping an eye out for any kind of markdown on Everspace and Dead Cells, even though they were just released (or are still in EA). I also have a smattering of older things on my wishlist that might actually get a discount.

Other than that, probably no more than $50 budgeted.

I installed the Fallout 4 High Res Texture Pack this week so I'm back in. As such, my big-ticket watch this go around is the Season Pass. If it goes back down to 50% I'm all over it.

Other 50% pulls include Firewatch and Night In The Woods.

I could also get behind a nice discount on ETS2: Vive la France.

DLC for Assetto Corsa and ETS2, and that's pretty much it. I also have a million badges to craft.

No plans, except that I plan not to buy much. All my gaming dollars are likely going to Nintendo this year for the Switch, the accessories, and games. I spent most of the last year studying for my professional architects exams and now that I'm done, I'm going to finish off all that stuff I built up more than usual pile accumulation. I have The Division, Train Valley, Terraria (again), Dirt Rally, Cities Skylines, Banished, and a whole mess more I can't think of right now. I may do something with the $5.75 in my Steam wallet.

I'm hoping for many 75-80 % discounts I only have a gaming budget of 37 euros, trying to get as many games from my wishlist as i can this summer sale

I'm gonna have to remember to list my profile as No Gifts.

These are the exact two games I'm only interested in right now as well. Would pick up either at a discount, though I'd prefer both on console (Everspace is play anywhere, so I have that going for me).

Apart from that, my Steam account is a wasteland of months upon months of backlog, so I plan to be on the sidelines largely for this one.

I'm not ready. I'M NOT READY!

Looking through my wishlist, the only thing I really want to go on sale is Steep.

Yes. I'm sure the price is steep, but what game?

If I go look for this and it's NOT a game about brewing tea I'm going to be very put out.

The addition of a Windows computer in the household has made the Summer Sale season much more dangerous. I may need a budget.

How much sale? It's half off now on uplay if you're accepting of not-Steam.

I just keep praying that Hyperlight Drifter or Axiom Verge finally goes under $10. Probably not though

Doesn't the steam version go through Uplay anyway? I'm not sure, but lots of (or maybe all of) Ubi stuff does that.

I'm looking forward to picking up some DLC for Stellaris as Markly recently gifted the base game to me.

Hopefully also the Pillars of Eternity White March DLC goes on sale too and I can pick that up cheap. Might finally get Metal Gear Solid as well. Will see.

No plans, mostly gifting.

Eh

Honestly, with the Humble Monthly bundles being so gosh-darn good, I'm getting more and more hesitant to buy games on sale unless I want to play them immediately. Coupled with Steam's last 2 sales being a bit more "meh", I think this is the first time I'm not counting down the days.

I suppose I'd like to see some more obscure/older games go on sale:
Particle Fleet
Corpse Party
Ladykiller in a Bind
Shadow Tactics (Not old, maybe not obscure, but I've had my eye on it)

I'll probably snap up a few quirky games to gift to people later on

Good thing Steam doesn't carry PS4 games.

This is not getting the credit it deserves.

As for me. No buying. Still on a spending freeze 'helped' by the fact my graphics card is dead so I'm playing purely what can run on Intel 4600 graphics.

As always steam sales have me excited and scared for the will power test
