LOGistICAL - Sublime Logistical Strategy Puzzling

And...Florida is available. Yeah, I'm pretty sure sacada doesn't sleep ever.

And now World is mere weeks away as well!

Looks like Norway is next y'all!

And I noticed LOGistiCAL Earth has been postponed until February.

I wonder if I'll still be interested by then. There is so much other content already.

Also Chile and Oregon, also available with Norway on 9/19.

*shrug* Let him take the time he needs to do it right. Plenty of countries to do between now and then.

I wish this game had a better UI. I like the concept and spent a couple of hours completing the first island, but too much of the time it felt like I was fighting the UI or enjoying it in spite of the interface rather than the interface contributing.

Sacada is progressing very nicely on functionality of the interface (hotkeys, sorting, multi-select), if not the elegance of the interface. It doesn't look any better, but it works better with more features to come soon (per sacada via Steam forum). All of these are in direct response to user requests. One of the main reasons I'm such a devoted supporter of his work.

Perhaps take a little break and come back to it.

Hey guys, Oregon is out today!

http://store.steampowered.com/app/70...

I'm still in Hawaii (upgrading industries before finally fixing towns), but I might do this one next because:

LOGistICAL: USA - Oregon is a smaller addition to the LOGistICAL series. This is good for beginners getting to understand the game, but still big and complex enough with plenty of challenges.

And Norway is coming out later this week!

Yay!

And Chile next Thursday (happy birthday to me)!

Huzzah!

I bought, and 100%'ed Oregon this weekend.
And went back and 100%'ed Hawaii.

Spending far, far too much time with this game. I may have a problem, but it's just soooo Zen. Great way to shut off everything else that's running through your brain.

Haven't finished the original Australia yet, something about it burned me out. Keep meaning to go back. Have all of northern California done, just the huge cities in the south to finish. Can't decide whether to go back to one of them, or pick up Florida or the UK.

So happy to hear you're enjoying it!

Japan is out!

The beta for multi truck select is available. Works pretty well. Lot of holding ctrl, not just for selecting trucks but for assigning commands too. Not in love with it, but it works.

Oh nice!

Is it an opt-in or already live in the game?

Was not going to start Logistical tonight but this thread destroyed that idea.

It's opt-in via the beta setting in the game's properties menu.

The new functionality is a bit clumsy in some cases, but sooooo much more efficient for playing the game. +130 cheevos for me today. Finished four regions of the Netherlands.

Welp, next couple of weeks are gonna be expensive:

In other news, the dev has listed out what he feels are the easiest-to-toughest modules in order, which is perfect for me, at least.

Been in on the beta since Saturday. Soooo sweet. A little awkward at times, but I'm sure years have been added back to my LMB :P.

Hahahahaha, can't wait to try it myself!

So what does that let you do? Just assign multiple trucks to the same supply route?

Feh, "just." Have you tried to send multiple trucks to get the same commodity? It's a PITA.

I wasn't able to get into Logical, but this made me think of this thread!

That freeway game is a lot of fun. Very meditative for me to try different solutions.

Veloxi, yeah, I used that word because I was not sure if there was more to it. Not because I consider it trivial.

Robear wrote:

Basically, anything you can do to one truck, you can do to a group: Drag to destination, set to pickup goods, set repeat status, unload status, start/stop. It also makes the icons in the truck status window active, so you can just go down the line and change repeat status, for instance.

sacada wrote:

Start/stop, dump all and repeat route buttons are now clickable in the truck list so you don't have to open the truck dash for each truck and click on the required button. It is nice to quickly click down the list changing each truck.
I encourage using this method and very quickly it will become second nature.

Thanks D-Man!
