Browns Addendum:
This is interesting: Cleveland QB Brock Osweiler is not expected to play in the Browns' third preseason game, per sources.

...as Josh McCown is clearly (begins vomiting) the best QB of the four options.
I sat through that as a Browns fan, and let me say that...

I'd take him back right now.
Or call Kaep
WYTS is up for the Broncos. It's not that great.
Highlight is:
What might not suck: Jake Butt rules and my hope is that he recovers from his injury swiftly enough for all of us to make tired Jake Butt jokes on a weekly basis.
I'm sitting here wondering if you put Brock on the Jets, where does he fall on the depth chart? I'm thinking he and Bryce Petty fight it out for #2, as Josh McCown is clearly (begins vomiting) the best QB of the four options.
At this point in the offseason, he probably doesn't make the roster. He'd be too far behind in the offense to be able to compete. And it's not like he's Sam Bradford caliber in learning and running offenses.
Osweiler vs. Hackenberg would be one hell of a scrub battle to watch.

But dangerous as f*ck for all the reporters in the sidelines of practice.
Speaking of which...
Comic is inaccurate though, *way* too generous with the hair.
Recap of Week 3 of "Hard Knocks."
It was a rather silly episode, tbh.
Gerald McCoy is still camp MVP by a mile.

Yeah, and Florida was way out of the zone of totality.
Chad Henne to start Jaguars’ third preseason game
When I asked the football gods to stop tormenting me with Bortles and Gabbert, Henne and Hoyer wasn't exactly what I meant.
I would point to Rich Gannon, but he was 37. Just five more years to go, Legion!
Kurt Warner?
Listen, the track record of 32-year-old QBs who haven't thrown a pass in two years and were never good to begin with is excellent. I mean, maybe. OK, probably not.

Was chatting with my dad about whether the Chiefs would roll with Mahomes or sign a vet if Alex Smith went down in preseason. He thinks they would sign Vick. That's when I looked up his age on Wikipedia.
Vick is 37. Last played in 2015
Jeff George is available.
Barnwell on Bortles or "I've been saying this from the beginning"
Even during his "breakout" campaign, Bortles led the league in interceptions.
The viable options are probably upgrades on Henne, but they're not sure things. It's possible that the Broncos are ready to give up on Paxton Lynch. The Jags could try and make an offer for Mike Glennon given how Mitchell Trubisky (who reminds me of rookie-year Bortles in many ways) has performed during the preseason, and there could be a fit if the Bears are willing to eat some money. Brock Osweiler should be released soon, and the Jags would probably be smart to at least take a flier on his post-Browns career.
Omg, can you imagine? Oz is dumped by the Browns, but is an upgrade for the Jags.
The Jags turned down two first-round picks from the Bills, who were trading up to grab Sammy Watkins, because they were sure they had found their quarterback of the future. A team with needs up and down the roster passed up a first-round pick that would still have left them in line to grab Taylor Lewan, Odell Beckham Jr., or Aaron Donald and the 19th pick in the subsequent draft.

You know who's missing from that list? The guy who started last season, played pretty well for a sh*tty team and is not on any roster.
He basically got his own paragraph:
What's worrisome about Henne is that he might not be very different from Bortles. If the Jaguars want a quarterback who will protect the football, Henne hasn't been much better over his career. Bortles has thrown interceptions on 3.0 percent of his passes, but Henne actually tops him with an interception rate of 3.2 percent. Bortles has fumbled more frequently, but Henne hardly has been the sort of game manager the Jags might want to play as a counter to Bortles.
To be fair, neither are most of those would-be veteran replacements. One player who has mostly avoided turnovers over the course of his career, notably, is Colin Kaepernick. The former 49ers starter has thrown interceptions on 1.8 percent of his passes as a pro, including a 1.2 percent rate last season. It's close to the season, and Kaepernick doesn't know Marrone's offensive scheme, but remember that Sam Bradford managed to learn Minnesota's scheme and beat the Packers over the course of 15 days in 2016. There are reasons to be skeptical of Kaepernick's fit in Jacksonville, and I don't think it's likely he'll end up on the Jaguars, but he'd be an upgrade on Henne.

Man does that hurt, but a team that believes they have found their quarterback should draft the quarterback 10 out of 10 times. It sucks if you're wrong, but, well, we've seen just how far a team with Aaron Donald gets without a quarterback.
I'll never forgive them for not drafting Carr, though.
Ha! Best one yet.
OK WE GET IT how about that Aguayo, is he missing kicks in Chicago yet?
