Name that GAME Thread

Looks like Dreamweb? Never played it but it recently landed on my someday list.

It is Dreamweb!
Gloomy, dream-like adventure in always rainy dystopian city.

Seattle?

Sorry for the unexpected delay. Here's something a bit more in the middle distance (for me, anyway).

Oof, that UI looks so much worse than I remembered.

Is that Summoner?

Sure is. You're up!

I bounced off of that game so hard 15+ years ago... I had a really tough time with the graphics, but I think the interface had something to do with it too.

Next up:

Don't be scared off by the Korean writing; this also came out elsewhere.

No idea what it is, but that game looks somewhat interesting. It's an rpg, I'm guessing?

hmm. Asian, rpg... Legend of the Five Rings?

Western developed. Think more Diablo with teammates rather than Baldur's Gate.

Well, free play it is then.

The answer is Throne of Darkness, the only game (AFAIK) from Click Entertainment, which was composed of several people who helped make Diablo. It apparently failed pretty badly and Click closed.

The unique thing, aside from its setting, was that the player had control of up to four (out of a possible seven) characters at once. It's worth noting that Throne of Darkness released 9 months before Dungeon Siege.
There was also a multiplayer mode for up to 35 players, but I never tried it.

That was a fun one to search out by way of guesswork/inference, but I was definitely not getting there on my own. Here's an oddly rendered game I hope someone recognizes:

Is that porn?

Definitely not porn, despite a bit of goofy ellipsoid nudity. It wouldn't be hard to make that assumption based on the title as well though. Here's a less suggestive shot.

Ecstatica.

Was controls in this game somehow difficult? If compared to alone in the dark for example. I have memories of being stuck in the walls or objects. ...or perhaps it was just panic

Yep! I recall the controls being pretty horrendous, though perhaps not much worse than Alone in the Dark. I was terrible at both.

I have to agree. AITD double-tap for run wasn't easy to handle. But its the thrill of the game

This goldie was both on amiga and pc. This is pc version

So weird, I haven't played that game, but it's reminding me of a snow level in a 2D game on PC I played as a kid but I can't remember what the game was!!!
