Yeah I think that was mission 1 for me. I think it was a combination of sleep-deprivation and gamer-pride keeping the difficulty up high.

Mission 1 for me, too - but I was playing on Easy.
Fair to say I'm hopeless at video games.
I abandoned it fairly early as well. I had to wait for a door to open or something and multiple waves of enemies came in. I kept dying right at what I think was the end of the encounter. Every time I died I had to walk across the fairly large room to press a button and, honestly, that was what made me give up because it was so plodding. I really wanted to like it and will probably give the sequel a shot but I think they just might not be good at making action games.
This thread went dead and I forgot it was on freeplay. In the meantime, I found a lighthouse in a game I was playing.

Promo image, but I could see getting there in the endgame if you knew exactly what to do. But I don't have time to pull an image off my switch, upload it to Imgur, and post that.
