Secret of Evermore

The other great 90s Secret, yup!

I know this is off topic, though relevant to the current discussion, but Illusion of Gaia is one of the most under appreciated games of the late SNES era. That game is amazing.

True fact.

Also, check out Robotrek. It was only released in Europe, but there are ... ways of playing it.

Do you mean Terranigma? Robotrek was released in North America.

Yes, sorry. Those are definitely not the same game, but I get them confused all the time - I played them at a similar time in my life, via similar ... means. They're both great though.

I've heard of Terra Nigma and seen screen shots. It's been on my long list for a long time. But finding time to go back and play an SNES game is tough.

Today is the day, mav.

No, today is definitely not the day. Nor tomorrow or the day after. Maybe Monday. Maybe.

I don't know exactly how it happened, but I somehow have two copies of Secret of Evermore. Still never played more than 3 hours into it...

This thread has made me develop an eagle-eye for lighthouses. This one is at the very end of a course, and this is basically the closest you can get to it.

GT ...... 6? No, Sport! 6 was almost a decade ago.

Not a Gran Turismo game.

Who else has ugly square UI?

My initial thought was iRacing.

Solving this one might be a longer...project.

Maybe time for a break. How about a drive on a california highway?

Project Gotham Racing But In California?

Project Cars: Lighthouse Edition

I see that Laguna Seca has a lighthouse, but that course is in, oh, every game on the planet.

Project Cars is correct! The course is California Highway.

Almost a lighthouse!

It's bizzare this game wasn't more popular.

When I first saw it I thought Split/Second except the interface isn’t the same

Nope, but around the same time.

Rocket League's early PS3 prototype

Pretty much. I wouldn't call it a prototype necessarily. Most people consider RL to be a spiritual sequel of this game. I consider both to be spiritual sequels of another game who's screenshot I'll post another time.

Super hyper nutty funtime rocket powered RC cars.

...or something similar to that titlle.

Well, since nobody is taking it:
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars
