Deadly Towers?
Deadly Towers?
Yeah, that's gotta be the worst NES game of all time (NSFW link).
Oh wow, I did not realize it was so poorly ranked. I only played a little bit of it on an emulator years ago
Next up:
Judging from the huge scissors, I'd guess Clocktower.
Yep the last one was Deadly Towers!

Here's a pretty interesting video on it and whether it deserves that title:

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for jumping the gun! I thought it was AUs who posted the picture and was confirming that it was Deadly Towers! That's what I get for not going back to the previous page
Nevertheless...

Mantid is right with Clock Tower. I never played that series, but those scissors looked so ridiculous when I was looking up images that I just had to post it.

No worries! I just enjoyed the video so I wanted to follow up. Had no idea Deadly Towers was so huge.
Yeah, that's totally wild. Over 1000 screens?! That's amazing.
Ok, I'll just go with this one because I already had it waiting...
Ivory Tower?
Heh, I remember Deadly Towers. I did not play it myself, but I remember my brother(s) playing it and I can't remember if they made their own map or if they used one from Nintendo Power.
Playing through the DLC of Mafia 2 right now, I can confirm that the lighthouse in the posted screenshot is without a doubt from Mafia 1, one of my all time favorite games.

Correct!
I really should get around to playing it myself. I thoroughly enjoyed Mafia 2, but have never gotten around to either of the others.
Mafia 2 is really good as well. The DLC....not so much. I'm enjoying it much more, now that I restarted and changed the difficulty to "easy".
I keep thinking about returning to Mafia 1, now that the definitive edition is out. Still have to do Mafia III first though.
Next up:
Pretty sure that's Dark Fall 2: Lights Out, which was my one remaining lighthouse-related idea for this thread.
You got it.
I admit, I'm running out of ideas as well.
We did manage to keep the theme going for about 3.5% of the entire thread (by page count) so far.
I've got a few obvious lighthouses that I don't think anyone's done yet, but I've not been able to guess any along the way.
I've got nothing right now. Freeplay.

The intro still gives me goosebumps!
Just tossing out an easy one...
World of Warcraft?
Yup, right outside of Stormwind in the water. You're up!
Say what you will about the art style, but it's super recognizable even if I barely played.
Umm, let me dig something up.
Guild Wars 2?
Yessir
No idea, but it sure does look pretty. I'll go way out on a limb: Riven?
Nope, not Riven.
That's the hub from Unravel?
This has a What Remains of Edith Finch vibe to it, but I don't think it is that.
