I didn't know Robert Osborne of TCM died

He died March 6. I loved listening to him introduce movies and give a synopsis of the movie, who was in it, who made it, and why I should watch it. Great host and a good long life. http://www.washingtonblade.com/2017/...

Thanks for posting that article. This weekend TCM is paying tribute to him by airing a bunch of interviews he did. The listing is here.

Class act all the way.

I didn't know either. I really enjoyed him on TCM for many years.

Did he also intro AMC stuff back when it was more like TCM? He always seemed like the kindest person imaginable. I spent a lot of time watching old movies on AMC and TCM growing up because it was one of the few things my parents would allow me to watch.

Maybe, but that would have been before they started showing commercials and more modern tv shows. Looks like Bob Dorian was the AMC host, the name sounds familiar.
