Marines are reported to have been deployed to northern Syria, with artillery attached. Looks like they will provide (at least) 155mm howitzer support for the assault on Raqqa. Also, last weekend, the 75th Ranger Regiment showed up in Manbij in Strykers, apparently to keep the Syrians and Turks from getting ideas.
