Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.
If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.
And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.
By himself when using his alt Twitter account, yup.

Let me fix that for all the wealth apologists out there: good luck trying to be a billionaire anywhere.
Exactly. Your chances of being a billionaire in just about any advanced, rich economy is statistically between 1-2% and almost entirely dependent on your starting point. If your parents are not at least millionaires, your chances drop into statistically insignificance.
I know so many people and I assure you that 1 to 2% of them are not billionaires. You must have a completely different dataset than the one I know about.
1 out of 100 people a billionaire?
Yeah think a decimal point got moved

Yeah, my decimal place was off. Also, how many folks do you know who had multimillionaires for parents?
So that would be odds of maybe 1 in 575,000 of becoming a billionaire in the US. But that's also the chance of being born to billionaires, right? I bet if we excluded those who inherited wealth, the odds would be much steeper.
Hence the previous 90% taxes and huge death taxes on the 1%. This is a problem with a known, functional solution.
Damn, I was hoping that was real.
That is disturbing.
And an insult to Gollum.
"Goblicans"
I've been calling them Orcs, but Goblicans might be better.
Someone's doing Smeagol dirty there.
During wartime rationing and fear of invasion folks had to do more with less. Now in this age of corporate greed, crushing capitalism and overbearing oligarchs, you too can experience the innovations of desperation.
And when they get back control in a few years they will "un"codify Roe. Hell they repealed an amendment when it came to prohibition so don't tell me it can't be undone.
What he needs to do is reform voting if he gets control so that a minority of people can't force their views on the majority.
That last pic with the Biden tweet is from last September.
* Unless your goal is to dismantle the federal government by engineering ways for it to "fail"
The government doesn't work! Vote for us so we can fix it*
*Fix = starving it for resources and sabotaging it so we can run on how broken it is!
I read a Republican "talking points" style rebuttal to this that went something like "Yeah, but as soon as Congress was back in session, they gave all those workers back pay, so the furlough was actually a vacation."
So that's... better?
Well, I know someone who had to max out his credit cards so he wouldn't lose his house and his family could eat, but yes, they did give him back pay.
Didn't help with the interest though.
Badken, they never repatriated that $8B to the economic losers... So no, not unless your vacation is paid for by someone who had the cost involuntarily levied on them...
gif that won't load sometimes and doesn't really have a much better thread home.
This is picture thread not video thread
Gifs never work on my phone. I get like 40% of them and can't scroll out.
Yeah sorry they play like videos with a big pause button in the middle. And it went on for several seconds.
I'm not saying all gifs should be under 5 seconds.... but maybe I am.
Either through ignorance or propaganda Republican voters believe all federal employees are democrats and thus subhuman.
