Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.
If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.
And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.
I don't think the 12 year olds actually have a choice in the matter.

Most 'males' don't realize the power graph is actually a horse-shoe. 'They' focus only on the tiny step in front of them, the right-hand curve. They 'ignore' the longer and more enduring path behind them. The ones that stand on the shoulders of any mega or turbo chum rising out of the alphas.

They've actually gone and done it- the "Sigma Male" is "high value" like an alpha but is cooler because he's an introverted "lone-wolf" alpha who's removed himself from the hierarchy. So this gives losers who want to be alphas but aren't actually dominating anyone like their doctrine insists they should an even higher status to claim.

It would be nice if there was some kind of functional, nonpartisan ethics board that could do something about lawmakers who repeatedly take actions that are in violation of their oath of office. But that will never happen.

The stupidest timeline part is there isn't a labor shortage - there is a pay shortage. Companies don't want to pay a decent wage so people won't work the miserable jobs. They think that teenagers will becuase they have less skills and less experience.
