Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.
If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.
And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.
Quite a big assumption that blue checkmarks ever did represent 'authority and expertise'
They meant "we have verified that this person is who they say they are, and they are somehow notable enough for it to have been worth our while to go to that effort." The whole selling point of Twitter was having access to celebrities and other public figures. Now anybody with $8 can claim to be Eli Lilly and say they're making insulin free. Musk keeps saying the $8 monthly fee will keep the liars at bay, which tells me he's never seen trade chat in a World of Warcraft city hub.
Twitter: Barrens chat with less charm.
So the spoofing is back?
If they really wanted people to believe them, they'd have made Marjorie Taylor Greene spell lousy like "lowsey."
Arrest is the given name to the Alien from Independence Day.
And the only reason Florida's "life expectancy" is so high because so many people don't even move there until they're already old, so they break the curve.
Also be interested to see that correlatory map of racial and socioeconomic breakdowns that would no doubt be a mirror image.
News at 10 - rich people live longer and slavery was totally a thing.

Republicans?
Well, strictly speaking, the biggest human penis.
Guess which of the 3 in the picture *didn't* get expelled?
....Yeah...
I just think the best part is they can be reelected and they can't be expelled for the same offense. I hope they win and chant every f*cking day on the floor!

I think if they chant again it will be interpreted as a second offense.

I would almost love to see a cycle of them chanting, getting booted, getting reelected, chanting, etc.

I normally would argue that they wouldn't be doing their job representing their constituents as they were elected to do by deliberately getting thrown out repeatedly, but with the super majority of Republicans in that chamber, I'm not sure they could do anything that represents them better.

He used to disclose them, and then stopped when a journalist outed him for it. He's lying. Again. Cause that's all they do.
