Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.
If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.
And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.
Schrödinger’s election
Holy christ I'm going to miss twitter when it's gone:
Holy Christ, you could swap out Elon's name for Trump in that tweet and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I can, the grammar and spelling are too good to be Trump.

The new fresh hell today is that he's threatening to sic his followers on advertisers who turn on him, the same way Trump keeps GOP members in line.
I genuinely love twitter, and love using it, and will be very very sad to see it go. But I have to admit that he's making his precipitous downfall entertaining.
If only Trump could implode so effortlessly and completely as well...

I mean he smashed ketchup bottles after trying to get physical with a secret service agent like the giant man baby he is
I found a picture that sums up how Elon's Takeover of Twitter is going.

This accurately depicts project management life cycles as well.
Based on a true story
Missed opportunity for Ralph Fiennes that he hasn't commented on that.
Haha! Apparently this is a joke Weird Al perpetrated.
That's where I found it. Pretty great joke, especially if Radcliffe wasn't ever actually on Twitter.

Wait...I thought Weird Al was assassinated at the Shrine Auditorium in 1985.

He's not. But all impersonators are being banned and he just impersonated Weird Al so...
He did the graduation speech for my oldest sister when she graduated UW Madison. Probably the only good one I have ever been to.
Not Gen Z but same.
Yeah, I think we can safely move that line up to Millenials. I never have an unplanned voice phone call.

Gen X here. I don't answer the phone either.
Gen X tapping in: I never answer phone calls from a number that's not in my contacts list.
I'd say phone polling is a dead medium. I know election canvassers have abandoned phone banking for text banking.
Pollsters could send texts to invite people to surveys. Results would skew younger, as landline users are excluded, but geriatrics are more consistent and easier to predict.
JLS were you on the ballot this year?
JLS were you on the ballot this year?
No, two more years. Thanks for asking.
I'm pleased to say the four open seats on our school board were all filled by pro-education people I support. No CRT/kitty litter conspiracy nutters. I wish that were true for more districts. The new year is going to bring tension to many boards around the state.
The difference with Gen Z is that, they don't answer because they don't know what a phone call is.
Remember this population map when looking at the election map of the US that looks mostly red. It’s about population, not land area
*of course what the person who posted this on IMGUR is forgetting is that the US is a republic and therefore land area matters a lot.
Still it is nice to remember that the majority of actual people in America are not idiots. It is just the majority of people in some states.
I look at that and I think to myself, there is no way Florida and Texas should be red. (Ohio too, who just elected JD Vance for chrissake!)
