Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.
If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.
And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.
Nestle courting QAnon voters again, eh?
Nah, just supporting capitalism.
Potatoe, potato.
Nah, just supporting capitalism.
Nestle is particularly bad even after you adjust for capitalism.

Yep. As a Michigander, we’ve been trying to get that parasite out of the Great Lakes for decades now, but they’re harder to remove than the zebra mussels.
One of them denied him, and one of them betrayed him. Pretty accurate to my friend group
What about the one who slipped out of his clothes and ran naked away from the arresting officers?

Ours was named "Dan." I miss Dan.
If Franken was a Republican, the accusations against him wouldn't have meant anything and they would have been completely glossed over (if not cheered) by his supporters and his political party.
But Franken was a Democrat, so he was forced to resign instead.
I'm not in any way condoning what he was accused of, but it's another "wonderful" example of what happens when one party has a certain set of standards that they try to hold their people to and the other party simply doesn't care. Republican voters don't kick Republicans out of office no matter what they do because the set of standards that Republicans are held to are "not being a Democrat".
As for what he says - go on offense, make them take the vote, and then what? It's the same thing! They'll just find some excuse to not vote for it, and their followers won't hold them to account for it because they don't have a D next to their name and that's all that matters.

You are 100% right for Rs but it is those (in my opinion) idiots who don't vote that might be motivated if they see something that might bite them in the ass being passed.
Living in the heart of the midwest I have certainly noticed the first two panels.
But nothing will ever bite them in the ass again. Anything, ever. No amount of naked corruption, no lie, no uncomfortable truth, no law broken, nothing.
Madison Cawthorne is the last straw. But coke orgies will only push you out so far...
And he could easily be back in or go straight to Fox in months.

"...in the ballot boxes where they are supposed to be"
I should just declare victory...
If someone who lives in NJ can run for PA senate, then someone from CA can too!

…where did comic this come from? It’s almost exactly a tldr version of a rant Alex Jones went on during his show like a week or two ago.
when your a hammer every problem is a nail
The only thing capitalism knows is growth.
That Augie Ray tweet is so spot on.
SO broken!!!
It's worse than that. Math time.
$1256 at $7.25/hr is about 173.25 hours. That's about 21.6 8-hour days, or 4 and a third workweeks, or so. Which, yes, is about what a person will work in a month.
That's before taxes. That's not what people are taking home. $1256 is gross, not net.
