[News] Post a D&D Picture

Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.

If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.

And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.

Sounds like I might just spring for Witch Queen after all

Its a tweet though. Are they doing anything meaningful to make up for the fact that it takes a certain amount of wealth to leave Gilead for an abortion or gender medical support?

For their employees, I'm imagining they will.

They raised a decent amount of $$ and made significant donations to a variety of LGBTQ charities.

2 of the major NPC characters in the game are in an explicit gay relationship.

I think they said they will pay for transportation for employees needing an abortion.

Including the men… especially the men.

f*ck no, we do not need more boomers!

Bungie is one of the only major video game companies that have said anything at all. the only other thing I've seen is an indie bundle group looking for more contributors. The silence is definitely heard.

While I agree this is true that doesn't mean they are not a political party.

PM me if you or someone you know needs a camping trip. I am serious about this.

Ditto. I'm in Northern Virginia.

In NC and I volunteer at a campsite. Happy to help as well.

The rest of the quote is

There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being. But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their position 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of money or votes or both. I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in 'A,' 'B,' 'C,' and 'D.' Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me? And I am even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of 'conservatism.'

I'm in Iowa. I anticipate the aggressive criminalization of people traveling out of state for camping trips in the very near future.

I've already brought up the topic of relocating our family with my wife, but apparently that's me being "too extremist". I desperately hope I am not presented with an opportunity to say "I tried to warn you".

RBG is part of the reason we're in this mess. If she had retired when she became ill President Obama could have replaced her easily. Based on my understanding her cancer diagnosis came about when the Dems still had control of the Senate.

Corpse shaming!

Completely agree, Nevin.

I love all of these turds saving this sh*t for books instead of speaking about it while the orange one was still in office.

I feel kinda silly pointing this out, but a Patriot missile is designed for shooting down planes or other missiles, not drug factories.

But of course we can't expect the commander-in-chief to know that.

Ya, they don't care. Christians are perfectly happy to have a theocracy - they just demand it be their religion that rules.

It was in the footnote at the bottom, so you didn't have to point it out.
