Fire Emblem Catch All

Gunter is a real workhorse - nothing flash, hits hard (and fairly fast), has a lot of HP, defence and his abilities are pretty good if you run a cavalry team. I rerolled him on my iOS account though, as that side was unbalanced (Cordelia and Effie were blue spearwielders, fourth was a staff healer). After 4 rerolls this morning I'm kinda regretting it lol.

Fae hits like a truck. I'm running her as my green unit; her passive heal can come in handy in a longer battle.

So how important is it to re-roll...? Cant you get most characters to 5 stars eventually?

Special mission popped up today. 6 more gems from that and got another roll. 3 more 4* should help balance a bit.

I haven't re-rolled at all and I'm happy with life. Just depends on how much of a min-maxxer you are. For a F2P mobile title, my interest in taking it too serious is really low.

Yes. It's just the feather requirements are ridiculous. You can save yourself a month of grinding by starting out with at least one 5*.

Got it.

I'm happy to see so many Goodjer enjoying Fire Emblem Heroes as much as I am. After breaking through the initial learning curve, I'm finding the battles to be bite-sized, but interesting, tactical, and very fun - especially on higher difficulties.

Adding my ID to the spreadsheet!

I've played around with it some more and I've changed my mind. I think they did nice job making a light, quick play version of Fire Emblem that you can play quite easily without spending any money. It's by no means a replacement for the real games, but that's by design, I'm sure. I could it being a gateway for people if they haven't felt comfortable trying the games.

I really wish maps were maybe one block larger around.

I'm sure they tried that and decided against it, but ...

Yeah it does feel tight with a team of 4.

The writing is also less interesting than the main games.

The difficulty spiked after my main team passed 20. Intermediate duels are now very hard, and the teams are almost entirely 5*characters. I suspect the PvP mode may not be long lived.

Not sure how many people know but there is a spreadsheet with Friends Codes for this

The art is great, so I'm okay with skipping all the talking. Not as if relationships matter here.

Yeah PvP is always weird in mobile games. I'm just doing my 3 a day to earn some feathers.

Yay or nay for its F2P model, FEH has done a fine job of introducing me to the FE franchise. I've always enjoyed the trpg/srpg genre, now looking at buying a preowned 3DS XL to scratch that itch.

Meanwhile I gave up on rerolling a second account, I think it'll be difficult to maintain the grind on just one account.

So I invested in leveling my castle four times for and 80% boost. I hope that was wise but it seems to be paying off. Since I was lucky and got Marth , I figured I could hold off on heroes for a bit.

Just put in my mobile code.

Added everyone on the sheet.

I think the castle is very worth upgrading.

There's only one thing that frustrates me about this game, and it's the inability to preview the units you'll face. This means that if a team has say a green axe, you have no idea if that's a Fighter (Arthur), an Axe Knight (Sheena), or a mounted axe unit (Cherche, Guntar). I've now lost multiple battles because I brought a Sword unit, and what I actually need was a red mage because the enemy was an Axe Knight. And by lost, I mean the battle was impossible for me to win, because I could do 0 damage to one enemy.

I hope they add this in later. It's not a huge issue for Normal battles, but it can matter in Hard and definitely matters in Lunatic.

Interview with the devs about future plans for Heroes.

Is there a way to re-roll without re-downloading 400mb of game files every time? Android seems to clear that every time I use the clear data link.

Not without rooting your device.

Added everyone. My number is on the list now too. 664 993 3099

Made a nintendo account and linked it since it didnt seem to be working with the one I made for the wii many years ago. I did not get 10 orbs... :-/

I have 1 5* Lyn who kicks ass and 4 -4*'s who are not well balanced... I'm not restarting again so this is where I make my stand.

I got your invite, and want to strangle you. I spent an entire day rerolling to try and get Lyn. So jealous, congrats.

To get your ten orbs, go to the quest rewards area, tap the fountain in the lower right. Then tap on the coin logo in the upper right. You'll find a bunch of My Nintendo things you can claim, including the 10 orbs.

Is it just as easy to stumble on a 5 star character later, in theory? I spent a stupid amount of time today trying to get Lyn, my favorite main protagonist. Eventually I settled for Chrom.

So I started off yesterday, and seemed to get a pretty good pull, 4 five star units (Lyn, Camilla, Tharja and Hinoka) and 24 silver units including a Corrine and a Sakura who are pulling more than their weight. I've learned something helpful for gathering feathers. If you have 3 star units you're never going to use, or recycle for SP, you can send them home for 150+ feathers. Some silver units can be sent home, but for much less (think 5-15, 15 being the highest I found for silver). Already beat level 9-5 and waiting for new content, currently going through hard mode and the tower, occasionally the arena to pass the time. This reminds me very much of Rekka no Ken and Sacred Stones in the strategy department, but the fact that I can get two or three rounds off in about 15 minutes makes me very happy, and a bit upset they didn't release this earlier. The story could be better, but that is really my only complaint... that and no Joshua that I've seen yet. Blargh... one of the best assassins and he never shoes up in anything. Overall I give it a 4.5/5, lowered only for simple plot and the RNG unit distribution. But in every other respect it exceeded my expectations, so I guess a win overall?

Edit: Forgot to say that the pulls have been over the last two days and I have put in some money to support Nintendo.

Yes. The draw rates are always 3.25 for 5*, 35.81 for 4*, and 57.69 for 3*. Then the focus heroes get an extra 3.25. That's why I was trying so hard for Lyn, right now her rate is 6.5. When she's no longer a focus hero it'll go down. But after literally 12 hours of rerolling I conceded defeat.

ahrezmendi, I feel your pain. I pulled quite a few 4 and 5* Camillas yesterday but all I wanted was a 5* Lyn for my secondary account. Well, Lyn, Ryoma and Takumi - doesn't hurt to dream, right?

I think, at this stage, if you don't need the feathers or need to free up card slots, then perhaps wait a few months to see whether hero abilities are balanced/tweaked.

Yeah so I read all about re-rolling for good characters and I gave up and bought FE conquest. I'm not going to do that to myself. Y'all are nuts.

That said, I didn't know that locked me into a faction choice and, when it was presented to me that I couldn't choose picturesque japanese faction, I got angry and turned it off for the night.

Constant re-rolls at least didn't cost me $40.

But seeing a battle map that was more than 20 squares was very gratifying so I think I made the right choice.
