I think I'm more a Cory and Amanda kind of person than the other guys.

How's the single player in Deathwing? I've had it on my radar for a while, but if it's four-player-coop only then not so much for me.

Only you would listen to us eviserate a game and think "Ohhhh ... tell me more!"

From what I've heard single player is same game with AI companions.

You say that like it's a bad thing...

What can I say? I'm attracted to passion. When someone has a big reaction to something, I want to see what provoked it.

Also, my tastes are different enough that when someone really doesn't like something, it makes me wonder if the thing that people don't like is something that I will.

Haven't listened yet, but is there a list of everyone's individual top ten?

There's even a thread they could post them i—ah, who am I kidding?

Apologies. Erik has had a busy couple of days and I've been a horrible uncaring bastard of a back-up. The writer's ten is now up.

Don't worry, you'll be getting my verbal vomit soon enough now that the picks were posted to the front page first.

Team Amanda, right here.

It's me, the Liker of these posts!

Amoebic: Just letting you know the Steam profile you've got linked here is wrong. Unless that's your Roblox smurf account.

ugh I've had this steam name for over a decade, who the hell does that impostor think they are! I made it before the steam ID thing existed, so I'd never created one and some interloper snagged it

It used to link to it, but the GWJ forum thing used the id page link instead of username now I guess? Disappointing. I don't want to create a new steam id until I'm totally sure I can't usurp this impostor.

Thanks for the head's up! I'm a petty person and have internet creeped this placeholder account and then systematically blocked or muted them from my social media out of spite. They've camped the name on various other social media and game apps as well.

I don't think I can convince someone to delete themselves, but I don't know if I can convince steam to give it to me instead. Hmm.

How dare!

Yep, GWJ uses the ID found in your profile's URL, which can be custom. So you can just use your preassigned number instead. The custom URL is largely useless unless you happen to give it out often.

(I totally get being irked by it. Whenever I have to resort to a backup nick, I'm invariably a little annoyed.)

I'm and Amanda for my sun, but I'm definitely a Sands in my moon and an Allen in my ascendant.

When the Moon is in Amanda's House

And Demiurge aligns with Mars

Then Certis will guide the conference call

and all will love Overwatch

This is the dawning of the age of Elysium

Age of Elysium

Elysiummmmmm! Elysiummmmm!

No love for Stardew Valley ?
I had not played a Harvest Moon game before, so this was all new to me.
28 hrs played over the first weekend. My shoulders hurt.
Hayley's reaction when you ask her to dance at the first Spring Festival is one of gaming's best written moments.
This game was created by one man. One man !
Easily my game of the year (followed by Overwatch).

Yeah, really surprised Stardew Valley didn't make any lists. Thought for sure it would pop up.

My boss brought his Oculus to work and I played about 20 minutes of Superhot VR and my experience during that time alone puts it in my top 10 of the year. Wow.

I honestly haven't played it. One of these days I'll get to it.
