NFL 2016: Week 13

So, that Cecil Shorts injury the other day? He completely tore all three major ligaments in his knee and dislocated his kneecap, meaning his lower leg was essentially still attached basically by his skin.

Matt Waldman (game film guru) put up a number of good plays from jameis Winston vs. the Chargers on his Instagram account. Worth a look.

Thanks a lot. You just lost my company a lot of time as I checked out way too many of those videos. Good stuff.

On the mystery of Jeff Fisher's continued employment.

Man, I knew they've made some bad picks, but that really puts in perspective how horrible their offensive drafting has been. (Too soon to comment on Gurley.)

How is Les Snead employed? Outside of Aaron Donald I don't see where he's ever done anything special in the draft. Hell, in the back of my mind I was giving him credit for drafting Robert Quinn, but that was before his time.

Fisher has been lucky to coach for owners that don't care about winning. They're getting paid because the NFL is profitable, and that's all Bud Adams and Kroenke have cared about.

Just bought my parking pass for tomorrow night's game. I have to admit, I was considering backing out because of the cold. The my buddy texted me this morning that ticket prices are dropping and he bough hand and foot warmers. So, no, I'm can't wuss out now.

Now I'm getting pumped. It's been awhile since I did a primetime game at Arrowhead. I'm braking out the long johns, and prepping my layers. I had a pretty good system back when I had season tickets.

This won't be near as bad as the worst game, the '95 Colts playoff game. Despite hiking boots with thick soles, there pairs of socks, including a pair of wool socks, we still needed two drink trays stacked on the ground to keep our feet from freezing. And we have to chisel the ice off our seats when we arrived. Not only was it cold, but an ice storm had covered the stadium the night before. f*cking Lin Elliot...

I don't care about Thursday night games to the point where I don't even check to see who is playing.

Don't disagree with that. I'm in that boat, too.

But this weeks it's Raiders/Chiefs for first place in the AFC West. Both teams are not only playing well, but have had several games that are just fat out fun to watch. Craziness should reign tomorrow night.

Just hoping KC comes out on top. I'm thinking Tiny Hands Carr and his broken pinky is not going to like the weather. That will help.

The Chiefs are rumored to be getting Maclin back, which means Ware and Hill may go off.

It own be better on Sunday Night. But while Arrowhead is awesome, primetime Arrowhead is out of this world. Raiders/"Chiefs for first place, this late in the season, at Arrowhead, in primetime, is going to be balls to the wall intensity.

Can't wait!

Raiders/Chiefs being a relevant game makes the NFL better all around. Even if it is a Thursday night game.

Have fun Jayhawker!

It's time for the NFL to give back to the Raiders if/when they meet the Patriots in the playoffs. You can't ever forgive the tuck rule but at least we can ensure that we correct the mistake.

If I had tickets I'd definitely go, especially to watch two of the league's best pass rushers play IRL.
