Red Dead Redemption 2 Catch-All

Is there any way to rent a PS4 or Xbox One?

Do you have a video rental place nearby? A Family Video or Hollywood Video (if it's still around)? Might be you best bet.

Alternatively, you could use the PSNow on PC service which gives you:

* Choose from over 400 PlayStation games, including all-time classics and forgotten gems.
* Save progress to the cloud and jump back into your adventures on PS4 or another PC or laptop.
* Try out new titles with regular updates to the game library.
* Connect your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller - or other compatible controller - to any USB port or go wireless with the official USB Wireless Adaptor and you're ready to play.

There's also a 7-day trial, so, if you go ham at it, you could possibly play and complete RDR within the trial period

I must add that I've never tried this, I've just got it on my list to do at some point so I can finally play The Last of Us and maybe some of the Uncharted games.

I look forward to finding the homage to Hateful Eight.

Yes. Rockstar always has to emulate (rip off) some big Hollywood production, don't they?

Delayed until October 26.

That's disappointing, but since we didn't have a release date and Spring was creeping up, I was starting to suspect as much. Also, I'm almost always in favor of devs taking as much time as needed to get it right.

It's still this year, so it doesn't ruin everyone's my Bold Prediction about the release date.

Has it been established who ought be threatened with death yet?

I'm still having a ton of fun with GTA Online, so I'm perfectly fine to wait.

Does that mean we will get the Undead Nightmare version of the game 3 days after its release?

My personal dream is some Lovecraftian DLC.

However, with GTA V dumping the idea of single player DLC entirely in favor of just making more GTA Online stuff, can we reasonably expect any for RDR2? I'd love to believe we're getting some, especially a follow-up to Undead Nightmare, but I'm not terribly optimistic.

I think I'm one of the few who didn't care for the premise of RDR 1's DLC, so never played it. I'm hoping any potential single player DLC for RDR 2 is more grounded.

I don't think it's controversial to say Undead Nightmare is widely considered among the best "DLC/Expansion" ever, so if anything has a chance, it would be that one.

It’ll be a seasonal event in Red Dead Online.

I've had this game on my radar for a long time. I'm wondering, though, where RDR2 game will end up on the microtransaction scale. Slightly concerned am I.

They can take as long as they need. The game will be great, but like others have mentioned I’m curious to see how much of GTA Online makes it into this. It doesn’t bother me as long as they make a good single player story, but I’m worried they started RDR2 from the ground up with micro transactions in mind.

RDR1 had so many great ideas for multiplayer, and they still hold up. I want to see that iterated on, and I want the damn stuff to be playable for $60 without having to cough up a lung for MTX.

I searched for you on XBL. No luck finding you. Please friend me up when you get a chance. “Rawk GWJ”

Please. Everyone friend me up. I’m very insecure. Thank you. I could use some more security. Oh gawd...

Now.. this is one game I DO WANT

New trailer

Previews should be coming out tomorrow as well.

Looks like the hype train is leaving the station.

Any PC users try this out? I never played the first one and this has me curious how it is.

EDIT: Or I can try the free trial...nevermind

John Marston sighting in the new trailer! It appears that this game is going to tell the story of Dutch's gang falling apart.

It is set 12 years before RDR1.

Looks good.

I love the tag at the end "Product not yet rated." I be they will go for an "E"

Jeez, how many times did the Old West end?

Sucks to have to wait until October. I was hoping for a late summer release. The scenery looks great.

Waiting even longer for PC version

I only know of the service, haven't used it, nor know how well it works. It may depend heavily on your connection speed, or may just have general latency issues, for all I know.

Still, that's what the free trial is for

Alternatively, you could look for a used PS3 for dirt cheap and toss it after playing this game

THIS IS A MUST form e

Good points Thanks

No doubt. This is my most-wanted sequel, bar none. I need it more than Saints Row 5, more than Super Mario 3D World 2...even more than the next Soulsborne game, although that's probably the closest comparison.

Of course, we've had all three Dark Souls and Bloodborne in the time since RDR1 released. The EU has had all of that and Demon's Souls since RDR1 released!

Please, Rockstar, don't screw this up. But if you do, fix it.
