NFL 2016: Week 3

Hey how about Eli?

I hear he's hanging w/his brother on...Tuesday.

Jesus just play Kaepernick already.

Bortles 24/38 194 yds 2 TDs, 3 INTs

Too bad he didn't have time to throw for some garbage time yardage this game, but instead ended the game with a bad decision sack followed by an INT.

Guy Bradley will be fired tomorrow. How can you not?

The Ravens might be the worst 3-0 team of all time, but then there were plenty of Lions teams who started out the season this way.

I think they're riding Gabbert even if he sinks to the bottom like the Titanic.

That was not a horse collar tackle.

My cynicism about Carson Wentz is rapidly fading.

I am definitely concerned that my Ravens are having difficulty closing out very beatable teams, but it is at least encouraging that they are winning the games they should win. I'll take the ugly wins. I just hope the offense gets its crap together.

WHOEVER COULD HAVE EVER EVER THOUGHT DRAFTING A KICKER IN THE SECOND ROUND WAS NOT A GOOD IDEA I AM SHOCKED

Was Chip Kelly really that bad of a coach? Watching my first NFL game of the season and the Eagles are really good.

Chip Kelly's player hires as GM were mostly all traded or cut. He's a fine coach, but f-ed the roster up pretty bad.

Does add an interesting wrinkle to that whole thing about Chip Kelly being racist.

CBS left the Philly-Pitt game here. Wow.

That's what I was wondering. I've been out of it, so I have no sense of how much they turned over the roster vs. this being coaching.

That's surprising, as BOA in Charlotte is usually about 50-50 Steelers-Panthers when Pittsburgh's in town.

But the game is wretched, so good. (I'd be more excited if I were home, but I'm at work.)

Well, at this point he may be a college coach who can't entirely hack it here, but Philly last year was a giant train wreck in large part because he lost the locker room.

When he was a pure coach he was pretty good, though it's tough to judge him in SF at this point cause he's starting Blaine Gabbert.

CBS can't handle Certis' awesomeness.

There's that and then there's Chip Kelly publicly supporting Kaep's protests. If he was, wouldn't he not? Or been a tish more restrained in having his back?

Smokescreen!

Fitzpatrick with 5 INTs. Good grief.

Weather delay in TB. At the two minute warning.

Formally requesting Roberto Aguayo stand out on the 50 holding a long metal rod.

Really, the thing is that Kaepernick might not be any better, and he may not be 100% yet either. But it it hard to watch Gabbert get good protection (not a single sack by Seattle) and still throw checkdowns passes into the ground.

When Kaepernick was stinking up the joint, he was at least running for his life the whole time.

Stele wrote:

Oh, he wasn't quite done stinking up the field. 6 picks, one was a pick 6, and went 20 for 44.

How do you rebound from that.

FitzMagic always gives equal time to FitzTragic.

Welp, that train of thought died quickly.

It's week 3.

I'm now actively hoping that the bears lose out for draft picks.

This is the world I'm in.

I'm watching an interview of Wentz right now and I keep expecting him to mention Games You Can Play Right Now.

Can we go back to the old SNF theme, please?

Doug Marrone is sitting there on the staff, waiting to be made interim coach.
