Spoiler:

The party was like "We're gonna fight this guy!" and I just waited, with baited breath for someone, multiple someones, to draw a 2.

Excellent episode, but only a B+ on account of no Luchadores.

That's fair.

I literally gasped in surprised joy when I saw this pop up in my feed after marathoning the first 12 episodes (no reason, I suppose I'm just easily surprised). Really great podcast.

So happy and amazed that you guys are so good at this. Doubled my patronage to $10/month. I think of it as basically $2/show for the Conference Call and some extra for Unmarked and GWJPlays.

I would love to hear you guys do a Powered by the Apocalypse game or something weird and indie like Into the Odd, or Lady Blackbird. Lady Blackbird would be sooooo good.

"Yes, and."

High praise indeed, thanks Mix!

Go Red Ravens!

Excellent as always, lady and gents!

This has been my favorite episode so far! I so want some Rob Daviau gifs, especially Dark Horse saying "why don't you f*** off". So great. As always, I can't wait for the next installment.

I'm curious, how many viewers or listeners are like me in that they keep an open google map of Coffeyville while watching or listening? I feel like I know my way around this town! After last week's episode, I immediately read up on the Dalton Gang and read the accounts of this event. I looked at old photos and the google images of what the area looks like now (I did the same thing with the Brown Mansion, and the bowling alley, and the motel ... I looked for Chet's trailer but couldn't find it, though I think I may have spotted the Luchadore's van in the area! haha!) The original Condon bank building is still there, by the way, it houses the Chamber of Commerce now but they've preserved the lobby and it looks pretty cool. I could totally drive into Coffeyville and take someone on a tour of the events that have unfolded in this game. For me, that just adds a whole other layer of fun and intrigue. I love that this is set in a real town with real history, and I love the way Rob uses those facts and builds this incredible story around them. All of you are really good at this, and are making me want to play too! While I'm at it, I also really love the use of Tarot cards, I've played around with them in the past, they're fun.

This gets better every episode. The blend of history and current fictional events is really interesting. I care more about a city in Kansas than I ever thought possible.

I'd like to see a short promo spot or radio ad from the "Voice of the Red Ravens" as a filler between episodes...

Listened to this on a long drive yesterday and got chills at some points - I love the tarot mechanic and wow do you guys just have the creepiest luck with it sometimes! Great episode.

I've gotten my non-GWJer boyfriend hooked on it as well. He comes from a similarly small town and says that the characters really resonate. Also, while we were vacationing in Denver, he found a newspaper article posted in a brewery bathroom about a running back from Coffeyville who plays for, you guessed it, the Red Ravens!

My mischievous side wants to update this wikipedia page to reflect the actual history of the Red Ravens name.

Holy crap this would be stellar.
