[News] Satirical News Show Clips

I decided to just put a John Oliver clip in this thread and change the name and scope rather than start a separate thread for Oliver's stuff.

So just put any video stuff in here; Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Seth Green, etc.

Seth Myers is killing it even from his own upstairs hallway.

Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe: Every TV news report on the economy in one

That... is brilliant.

That was awesome.

Did she call herself Emily Surname?

Yes, and the couple she interviewed were Dennis and Pamela People.

There are more Emily Surname videos, too!

And a friend was reminded of an old bit by a Canadian comic spoofing the CBC hourly news break, and shared this MP3 with me:

It ends with the greatest possible announcement in the history of the show.

Not a satirical news show, but comedian Brent Terhune's definitely satirical take on the Costco freakout guy.

That's just the final few seconds of a great 6+ minute monologue. The full thing is definitely worth a watch.

Kinda hard to follow the video above, but Explaining the Pandemic to my Past Self Part 2.

that woman is really moving, and its also note worthy to look at mr oliver's eyes as he closes the show. he's been crying.

I think the most .... insightful part for me was the whole "you broke the social contract part" It is so true that whites have set it up so the 3rd party arbiter (the police) isn't unbiased. We purposefully setup the system so that they were going to lose - so why they shocked faces and anger when they don't care about the game anymore?

I teared up at this woman. That was incredible.

Her name is Kimberly Jones and the Greenwood event she is referring to is completely f*cking horrible, but also not surprising.

need the sound on but it is a good mashup.
