Aside from the paper Sheldon Adelson bought for the expressed purpose of having one with which to endorse Donald Trump and the KKK newsletter, I think the only other "paper" that endorsed him was the National Enquirer, right?

There's been a handful of others, including Florida Times-Union (Jacksonville, FL); Bowling Green (Ky.) Daily News; Times-Gazette (Hillsboro, OH); Santa Barbara News-Press (Santa Barbara, CA); St. Joseph News-Press, (St Joseph MO); and Long Island Jewish World, (Long Island, NY); Waxahachie (Tex.) Daily Light; and, Antelope Valley Press (Palmdale, CA).

For the sake of comparison Romney had well over 100 endorsements from daily newspapers.

It's genius though.... continue to brainwash the masses that the only source of information that they can trust comes from Trump. He has literally set the plate for a massively successful media empire that will make Fox News look like it was a legitimate news network. It's also frightening beyond belief as I can't imagine how much more anti-everything not white male Christian you can get than Fox News but something tells me we are going to soon find out.

Breitbart, but with more money.

Nice! No more media lies coordinated with democrat donors the truth for once

It would be nice to see Trump's media empire eventually reduced to late night public access a la Wayne and Garth.

"Party on, Mike!"

"Party on, Don!"

"Pence, I didn't say you could speak." *slaps him*

Isn't that him basically admitting he's going to lose, though?

After all it would be a slight conflict of interest if, God forbid, Trump won: flash forward to his press secretary being asked hard hitting questions from a Trump TV reporter in the White House press briefing room.

It will be interesting to see how they work it. Will they get it included in all cable packages like CNN or Fox? I can see a lot of complaints from customers about having to pay for that channel. I don't think there is another channel that is so obviously partisan.

Maybe it will help get a-la-carte cable.

Not really. He's taking cues from Putin. If he wins, he will have MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News removed from cable packages. I wish I were kidding.

So...Russia, basically.

Yes, I'm sure in the scenario where Trump wins and we have a Republican Congress they crack down on this obvious conflict of interest because they care about the norms of democracy.

I hope it starts subscription-only and burns out like glenn beck's is currently doing now.

I think the more telling indicator is that the party is at the Hilton.

My media consumption habits have kept me pretty insulated from video ads, but Twitter plastered a promoted video clip on my screen that has me entranced... Paraphrasing a little it's basically Trump's daughter saying that Trump will be handed a list of all the super special donors before his final speech. Hurry and donate so that your name will be on that special list that he will personally see!
Is this the kind of 11th hour idol worshiping scam it smells like or is it common practice to solicit further campaign funds in the final hours of a campaign? I could just be naive.

So does Trump get his Twitter account back tomorrow?

For the first time this cycle, I'm actually looking forward to his tweets. Assuming that he'll be a neutered and toothless loser.

Seems like it could be some glorious popcorn material since the threat of him crossing the oval-office threshold will finally be behind us.

Don't say this kind of stuff on Election Day. You might jinx it. Please don't jinx it.

I'd bet on 'serious'. The constant I've seen among Trump supporters, even ones that aren't core "deplorables", is an absolute rejection of any non-Trump media.

He'll get his Twitter account back as soon as he tells his media team that he's not going to pay them because he's unhappy with the work they did.

He got the account back. All caps emails from android device confirmed.

I was more smirking at the fact Donald is a known Democrat donor.

He won.

What's Trump done this time? He got elected President of the United States of America. Looks like there's going to have to be a part 3 to track what he does in the White House.

No, we've got a long time until January 20th. On which date, make no mistake, I expect he'll be inaugurated. But that still gives a long time for more stuff for him to do. The White House can be part 4.

For one thing, liberals are going to remember Scalia a lot more fondly than they realize. Kind of like Reagan, I suspect... As in "the good old days", when Republicans at least occasionally recognized the validity of a few liberal policies.

And, Lord-I-don't-believe-in help me, Dubya. Can we get Dubya back?

I know, last night my wife and I were fondly reminiscing about Dubya. The man was an idiot and I didn't believe in his policies but he seemed like a genuinely good and sincere person. Oh how I would love to have a Republican president in charge with those qualities!

The only bad thing I remember Bush actually doing was announcing the restriction on Federal funding of Embryionic Stem Cell Research, which was at least a moral decision. The response to Katrina was bad, but that was a failure on so many levels I don't think any single person could be to blame for it. And while 9/11 happened while he was president, that was a surprise attack on America and nobody should be blamed for it but the terrorists.

The real problems with his presidency were from the cast of clowns that he surrounded himself with, who took the War on Terror on a world-wide tour - Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, John Bolton, and Donald Rumsfeld.

Which is why, as much as I'm not thrilled with Trump as a president, I'll reserve judgement until I see who's *actually* calling the shots once he's in office.
