Battlefield 1 Catch-All: It is LIVE!

I can't speak to who's playing on PS4 but as someone who plays on PC every night I say the 2nd DLC (ITNOTT) is excellent. The 1st one (TSNP) isn't getting any conquest love at the moment but not because the maps are bad.

tldr: If you can get the season pass on the cheap, grab it. You'll get almost 2 months of play time in ITNOTT before the next one drops in December. Another DLC drop is due 2018.

That was great. The sick shot to bring down the plane at the end was excellent icing.

Till the 24th, the Revolution pack (base game + premium pass) is $29.99 on the playstation store. I might jump on that.

Oh, that's a pretty good deal. I own the game, and I think all the dlc as well. I haven't played in a while, but I may have more availability in the near future. Feel free to add me on psn.

Still playing on occasion on the Xbox.

I suppose $14.99 on Origin counts as "on the cheap." I liked most of the single player content and was intrigued by the multiplayer, but never played long enough to git gud. Thinking about taking another shot.

I just bought the season pass on XBL for £12 which seems a bargain. I got a ton of pointless loots.

I played a couple of rounds for the first time in a long time on the Russian maps and it is very open and relatively flat.

I still love it. Frozen mud never looked so good.

Yeah, I love the Galicia map. It looks just like some of the training areas I used to do exercises in when I was in the TA.

Picked this up in the Origin Sale after leaving Battlefront well alone. Enjoying it for the most part, any tips (PC Players ) on flying? I have an xbox controller, does this make it easier? Is it worth adjusting the sensitivity?

I personally have issues with using a controller with BF1 i tried at launch and just couldn't react quick enough. It takes some time but i think it's worth it to playing with the options and getting used to the m/k. Once you get it nailed down it feels really good.

At least you're trying after they did a balance patch for flying. It was almost not worth going up into the air because you were instantly shot down.

I have to say I have only had one game where it felt like the planes were having any influence in how the battle was going and that was because he kept bombing the same point and nobody was trying to shoot them down. Other than that I have never thought something has to be done about air superiority.

BUT Flying is really cool (but I can't shoot anything.)

I think I need to really mess about with my settings. Found using a controller to be fairly intuitive, but some moments I'm trying to turn or bank and the controls don't seem to respond. Hmmmm.

Can't hit a damn thing though

The one thing that I think Battlefield games should have is a practise mode for flying, think it was 1943 (the one on xboxlive back in the 360 days) had one. That way you can learn without feeling like that idoit that gets in a plane only to crash it 5 seconds later in an atucal match.

You can effectively do this by using the server browser to find empty or near-empty servers. Especially if you look for base game maps (because most folks are off playing in the DLC maps) you can quite happily fly around with only the occasional potshot coming your way. Desert maps are good for a minimum of stuff to crash into and nice long sightlines.

Battlefield 4 had one too. It was a great place to check out weapons, practice flying and driving all types of vehicles. It was the first time I felt comfortable flying a helicopter and it was awesome. There's really no excuse not to have a practice range. The workaround (empty servers) is nice and all, but it's not nearly the same as having a disconnected spot to just play around with gadgets and toys.

I really need to remember this. Can't snipe worth a damn.

My God, this game needs to learn to Auto-balance. It took me 6 servers tonight to find one that wasn't something ridiculous like 8 v 22. At that discrepancy it can switch entire squads!

So getting back into playing this after picking up the premium pass when it was on sale. Having fun again with the game. I know I've asked this before but I've decided to make a real effort to play online games with people this year instead of soloing it all the time, so if anybody is on the xbox one and can play GMT friendly times, let me know so we can sqaud up and I can crash a plane into a tree or something

Man, if only our timezones worked out. I have this on both PC and XB1 (EA/Origin Access) and would love to squad up with peeps.

Well I will add you anyway and if by chance we happen to be on at the same time, we will team up and kill some WW1 bad dudes

Since I started playing this (back in the thanksgiving sale) I've played nothing else (well, maybe a little spelunky) I'm in the UK, GMT ain't no problem.

I'm on PC.....................

That's a shame, don't really want to double dip on the game.

onewild, have you considered Origin Access (and is it available in the UK)? Here in the States it's $30/year and you get access to ~70 EA titles. I would not have double dipped were it not available in that form.

I play this regularly on PS4, and I'm in the UK. Add me up, usually playing after 6-7pm GMT during the week and in the afternoons on weekends.

I will probably jump again in the game with the new patch, so if you see me online just jump in or invite me, I would love to have some team work in the game. Maybe we can set up a day for GWJ players and try to play as a squad?

setrio, what platform are you on?

xbox, my gamertag is zarakatunga

Cool, added you all, are you have already added me so will look out for you on BF1.

New patch is ready for download! It changes the TTQ so it's a big one in terms of gameplay.
