General VR Catch-All

Jon's list is pretty solid. Skyrim VR and Elite are probably my most played in VR, but I haven't picked up Half Life yet, or... The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners is supposed to be really good and Greenmangaming has it less than Steam sale right now, if you log in to see the 'VIP' price, $25.59US.

Superhot, yes, that's a must buy for VR in my opinion.

I'll highlight Moss, it is fantastic, especially if you can grab it on sale.

Don't forgot to look at what you already own, you may be surprised to find a few games that tossed in VR support. Then there's things like Alien Isolation with MotherVR mod that are fantastic as well.

And don't forget RaceRoom when you add that wheel! Which opens up things like American Truck Sim.

Sorry, on this site we only get cialis sourced from the EU.

Half Life Alyx is a must have

Buckets. BoxVR has just made me sweat like Beat Saber never could.

I don't know if it's the latency or the inside out tracking on the Quest, but I had a hard time landing uppercuts properly.

I picked it up in the Steam sale too. I'll say this, if you "git gud" at Beat Saber, it'll outsweat Box VR.

But for both games, the player is really in control of the intensity - a "wristy" style of Beat Saber won't raise a sweat like big wide swings will, and likewise for BoxVR, if you're not punching from the hips, you can half-ass it big time, but if you start throwing haymakers and knockout uppercuts, and really leaning into the crosses, it's pretty intense.

And yeah, I've yet to miss a jab or cross, but I'll miss uppercuts and hooks. Mostly left hooks, which tells me it's the sh*ttiness of my off-hand more than a failing of the game.

My VR gym has filled out enough now that I've had to add an "Exercise" tag in my Steam library:
Beat Saber
Pistol Whip
Dance Collider
Creed: Rise to Glory
Until You Fall
BoxVR
Synth Riders
Audio Trip
Oh Shape

Thrill of the Fight is an incredible workout, it's also pretty cheap ($10 on Quest).

I tried it and had to request a refund. I have kids and stuff and between having a space JUST big enough and shuffling and turning around the arena as a six foot four fella with a long reach I was getting anxiety attacks. The Cardio Boxing in BoxVR I have room for.

Edit to add:

I've seen the Youtubes. I believe it. I also know that I would not enjoy that process as much as I enjoy achievable goals. I'm an aging lummox. I'd rather select a random 20 minute routine and sweat than spend 20 minutes trying and failing to nail a sequence of slashes. For now.

This is fair. I'm not a small dude myself but I have a large living room to play in so it isn't too much of an issue. I did punch the wall once, though, but that was my fault for leaning out of the ring to punch an audience member.

VALVE INDEX INCOMING!

After 80 days since placing my order, got the payment email for the Index. Which should mean it ships soon, which if *all goes right* it'll arrive right before my planned vacation at the end of July!

I got my Index email too.
